    Super Saturday Weigh In

    I weighed in at 185.6 yesterday. 2.6 down from last week. I think going to school and packing my food is really helping. I only have what I pack and that's it! Need more water though! Have a great weekend and see you all next week! Congrats to everyone here for doing such a great job, keep it up!

    Just Got Some Bad News...i Need A Pick Me Up!

    Sophia, YOU are one strong woman and in the end you WILL turn this around and everything is going to be ok. You already started by exercising! Just keep focused on that and eating the right nutritious foods! Everyone here loves you and is here for you if you need us for anything, even a shoulder to cry on.     Super Saturday Weigh In

    This morning I weighed in at 188.0! Down 1.6 from last week, hey I'll take it! Started nursing school this last week and have been crazy busy hectic. A test last week and 3 next week. They don't play around in nursing school, lol. SO, to say the least I haven't even had time to think about getting on the scale and look forward to my Saturday morning weigh ins. Keep up the good work everyone and see you next Saturday!

    I'm in the 180's!!! YIPEEE!!! 189.6 to be exact! That's 3.2lbs this week! I worked really hard this week and increased my cardio and it paid off! SO excited! Let's see what next week brings. Starting school so hope I can keep it up! Wish me luck!

    Oh, sorry girls I went out of town early Saturday morning and didn't get to post, but I did weigh in and it said 192.8. Only half a pound down from last week, but I'll take it! See you all on Saturday!

    Guess I'm the first today! Weight was 193. Down 1.8 from last week. Have a great weekend everyone! 40 lbs is so close I can TASTE it, lol. Hopefully next week will get me there. I'm going to up my cardio this week and see if that helps!

    Continuing "success" - How Do You Do It?

    You look SO good! I really can't even believe the transformation! That is INSANE! Go girl, you can make it to your goal! I mean only 43 lbs to go? You can do it! I'm only 10 weeks out and down 38 lbs and I know I have changed but it's the same for me as you it's hard to see everyday unless you look at pictures, and your pictures are amazing! Here's to an AWESOME 2012!!!

    WOW, you look AMAZING! Guess I need to get to the gym EVERY day! I've been doing strength training 2 days a week and cardio 3 days a week. I'll try kicking up the cardio and see if that helps. I can't even see your scars!
  14. That is awesome you are doing so good with the weight loss and all of the new exciting things in your life. I feel you on the not being able to eat a whole meal while it's hot, but I'm the same as you and then think how thankful I am that I can't eat the whole meal, but enjoy some of it and then again have some for later. Like you said that is what got us fat in the first place. Looks like my stats are just about the same as yours. I can't wait til I'm where you are. I know it will come soon enough!     Need Encouragement

    I don't think losing 2 lbs after a stall is bad. For me the weight hasn't come off that fast either! Last week I lost nothing! The week before that was 3 lbs. I've been a pound a week for a while and I know it's frustrating, but just stay positive and know that this has to work! Your body is probably adjusting to the loss. Make sure you drink your water and get in your protein! As I say this to you, I'm also reminding myself, lol. It is hard some days to make sure we get in everything we need. You'll be to your goal in no time and look back and laugh that you were even worried! Happy New Year!

    UGHH...I weigh exactly what I weighed last week!!! No loss, no gain. Aunt flow did come to visit yesterday though so maybe that is it??? I just don't know except that I feel like a huge blue whale, all bloated and crampy! I really don't like this time of the month! I'm hoping that is it and next week will be better. Happy New Year everyone!

    Ok, so I told you all I cheated and weighed on Tuesday. I tried, lol. I did manage to wait the rest of the week though and today I weighed 194.8. That is 3 lbs!!! YIPEEE!!! think I am really liking this once a week thing and will try it again this week and see if I can make it! Merry Christmas everyone!

    Ughhh...I cheated and weighed yesterday! I feel so ashamed, lol. I'm not going to say what my weight was tho. I didn't weigh today and am REALLY going to try to hold out til Saturday. I think I can do it. I'm going to do what Sophia did and hide my scale. That's the only way I'll be strong enough to do it. LOL. I feel like we're at weigh everyday anonymous, lol.     Why Oh Why Can't I Lose Weight!

    I was in the exact same postition as you at the same time. The scale will start moving again. It may take some time, more than just a few days but it will move. There is no way it can't . I was so frustrated doing just what you are doing working out 6 hrs a week running and doing weights. I think you will start noticing the inches. I sure noticed I was tightning up even when the scale wasn't moving and that my clothes fit better. It's just frustrating to not see the scale move. I really don't think your surgeon is going to be mad at you. You need to be honest with him and tell him what you are doing and that you are frustrated, and I think he will say just wait it will start going down again. Try not to be so hard on yourself and stressed about it. I think that only hinders the weight loss more at least for me I feel it did. Once I stopped obsessing about it the weight loss started again. I was in a stall for almost 3 weeks losing only a pound a week early out, but it has started moving again and it will for you too. Hang in there, stay positive and keep working out!!!     I SO want to be able to do this too. I'm completely obsessed with weighing everyday and I don't think it is helping my stress level. I'm going to go ahead and try this out. We'll see if it works. I will really try my hardest. Weight today was 197.8!
  24. I was sleeved on Oct 27th and have lost 21 lbs since surgery. 33 lbs altogether counting the preop diet. I started off great too and for the last few weeks have only lost a pound a week or so. Same as you up and down a half or quarter. It is frustrating. I feel like I'm eating a variety of foods good on my protein, not as good on the fruits and veggies either and get most of my water in. I think it is just a 5 week stall and it will break soon. Are you exercising? I have been at the gym 3-5 times per week since week 2. I feel your pain and think the same did I do this to only lose 30 lbs? I think we just need to keep on pushing thru and things will work out. I mean look at ALL these people on this site that have lost SO much weight. I don't think we are any different than them and we too will make our goals. Keep your chin up and push forward!
