  1. The only thing I myself would think about ordering would be broth.
  2. that's gotta make you feel good!!
  3. I am 5 foot 3 and my first goal was 160. Got there and changed it to 140. I am at 147 and now thinking to go for 135. Never did I think I would get this low again. Just looking fwd to hit 142 and be in the normal weight range!
  4. sounds like my 14 yr old!! I envy those that can sleep. I have struggled with staying asleep for a few years now. It has only been the last month that I don't wake up before my alarm goes off at 5.
  5. 13 hours is way too long to sleep!
  6. I am always tired with a capital T! I wake up every morning at 5 too, but don't think I could fall asleep that early. If you are still feeling this way next week, I'd get in and see the dr.
  7. Me too! And now I wear high heels. Well, not heels but wedges!
  8. There isn't much I can't eat. I do have a problem with snow peas, even if I destring them. And I avoid most steaks except for filet mignon at home.
  9. That's awesome Mis73! Here's a few of my nonscale victories: 1. I can use the smallest towel in the house that no one would use before AND it wraps around me now! 2. My work chair prior to surgery was on the lowest setting with my legs, uncrossed, touching the underside on my desk. Now I am on the highest setting and I CAN cross my legs with room to spare! 3. I can take a bath without filling the water to the top of the tub. Before I filled it to the very top and my belly was still sticking out of the water! 4.My goal was to get into a size 12 pants. I am now the proud owner of 3 pairs of 6's!. 5. The other day a friend of mine saw me on my morning walk with my 2 friends. She asked who was the chubby one lagging behind. This time it wasn't me who was the chubby one and lagging behind! Today is my 15 months anniversary and I am down 88 pounds. This was the greatest thing I have ever done for myself!
  10. I have 7.3 in a 10 band.
  11. I eat it with no problem. Depending on what I am making, I will use either 4% or 10% hamburger..
  12. woo hoo!! I missed this post yesterday. A huge congrats to you Kiskis!
  13. it will make its way through, don't worry. Sometimes I have felt like it has taken a couple of hours for something to go through if I ate too much, too fast and stuffed my pouch.
  14. If anyone is in need of a new doctor for fills in the Orange County area of Calif. my doctor is now taking patients who had their surgery done elsewhere. Dr. Oliak has an office in Brea and Irvine. Everyone in the office is great! Here is the link to his website. www.oliakcenter.com
  15. I know how emotional it can be. When I hit what was my original overall goal, 160 pounds, I sobbed uncontrollably!
  16. I've lost 87 pounds and mine haven't changed in size much!
  17. My dr gave it to me before I was released. I felt like it really helped!
  18. I am sure you are still bloated from the surgery. I wore that waist binder for 2 weeks, I am sure I was in stretchy pants too!
  19. wow, TKW!! You have done great, congrats!
  20. It's a website where you track your food intake and exercise for the day. You can post staus updates on there and add friends. It's great! I am on there too, under holbraden.
  21. I was a huge fan of flour tortillas before my surgery. I had one a couple of weeks ago for a soft taco and honestly do not miss them at all! So I will stick to taco salads while my family has soft tacos.
  22. do you use www.myfitnesspal.com? If so add me, I am holbraden. There are quite a few of us on there. Good luck with the C25K. I haven't done that, but I have started adding a little run in with my morning walks and I can go way farther than I did in the beginning!
  23. head hunger is something I have really been battling lately! Sometimes I will have a cup of tea, take a bath or go watch tv in bed.
