  1. I take a Flintstone with Iron and a Centrum Silver chewable. FWIW most chewable Vitamins are not as complete as the regular tabs.
  2. This is definitely about you! You only get to do this once. Edited to add................... if I was your husband I would stay home and support you during this time. No offense meant.
  3. My experience with two week liquid diet was that the headaches etc. Only lasted about 3 days. After that the only problem I had was juicy poop.
  4. Some Drs seem to forget we have to pay for these appointments whether we need them or not..
  5. The "post" button is working for me. Thanks!
  6. Stay at the hospital so they can look after you, if you can work it out. I am a little surprised your doctor is giving you a choice before surgery. Mine waited until afterwards to make the determination.
  7. Aircraft and movies. Two things I have avoided for sure. Last movie I saw was Jurassic Park, in 1993 I believe. Last flight was in 1999 and I barely fit in first class.
  8. 118 is a lot of weight! Great job on your part!
  9. Best of luck to you. I was nervous also!
  10. I know you wanted to tell him just how ignorant he was.
  11. My insurance was billed $125 for 15 minutes. Cost to me was $0
  12. All I can say is that I didn't have any port pain. I had lots of back pain, but no port pain. I don't even remember it being tender to the touch. Though I am sure it was for a least a few days. It wouldn't hurt to make a phone call and talk to the nurse. Let her decide if it is worth mentioning to the doctor. Just my view. Hope you feel better.
  13. Thats is the way it was for me as well. Why take a chance?
  14. Thank you Ken. Good job.
  15. Great job! That is lot of weight.
  16. Where is the option to delete your own profile located?
  17. Even without wls I think it is a good idea to take a Multivitamin. I have taken them over 30 years so far. Try the "more reply options" button if you want to reply.
  18. When I post on the forums this is what I get under my avatar to the left of the post. Group: Members Posts: 211 posts Topics: 9 0 warning points Gender: Male Patient Info:View my profile As you see it no longer shows my surgeon. What it does show is "0 warning points." Why? Can these two things be fixed? Thanks, PS: why does it no longer show the date joined?
  19. Helen, I appreciate the information you have posted of late. Keep it up!
  20. I do drink while I eat. It is my weakness. I was banded last Oct and I have had a single incident where it came back up immediately. Other than that, no problems, and my ticker shows how much weight I have lost. Granted it is a slow weight loss compared to some others. But I am content with it so far. Like many of you I have made so many changes to my diet. If only I could defeat this one last thing................
  21. I had tons of back pain for 2-3 days after surgery and then is just magically went away. Hang in there bud. It gets easier.
  22. Wow! A lot of you have done so well.
