There are more uninsured people now than before obamacare. What does that tell you?
Thank you .....

Things are actually worse now. More than 5 million policies have been canceled already. How many people is that? 10 million, more even? They project another 100 million or so may be canceled next year. Meanwhile many peoples cost are going up. And of course the web site doesn't work nor is it secure. So far obamacare has been a 100 percent disaster.

The jerk couldn't tell you this face to face. He was a coward to tell you how he felt in an email. He didn't care about how you feel. Not all men are like this! I would email him a Dear John letter and move on to better things. You do deserve it!
You need to keep up. The jerk was a female.

BTW: your insurance company may claim they dropped the policy because of The ACA but that just means the plan didn't meet minimum standards and rather than fix the plan they're ditching it. It's like blaming a speed limit for getting caught driving too fast.
Minimum standards like requiring men to get maternity care coverage.................
Yes otherwise women would all have to pay more insurance even though they don't really get pregnant by themselves. In order for insurance to work we all have to share the risks even when we may personally be immune to them.
That is socialism in a nutshell.
Who do you think is paying for these peoples care today? Asking THEM to pay for their own insurance policy isn't socialism.
Of course it is. The only difference is now it will be mandated by government or you will get punished.
Really doesn't matter though because obummercare is a disaster already and will likely be repealed eventually.

This afternoon will be the third and last day of family feasting. I ate very little yesterday so I might hit some of those sausage balls today. I will be looking for a gun show this AM while the rest of the family goes to the flea market to get a good deal on some fleas.

Some good advice on here so no need for me to repeat it.

Like Steph says, track your calories if your not already. I quit tracking them and my weight loss went to hell. I also have to make myself walk and use my Bowflex. It sounds like you are doing a lot of things right so I understand your discouragement. Just don't give up!

I feel a lot better physically but only a little better mentally. I am still pretty effin big so it does "weigh" on me still.

Doc says no more fills

Went to see the doc yesterday and he put another cc in my band for a total of 12 in a 14cc band. He says that is it and it is up to me to eat properly and lose weight if the fill doesn't help. So this AM I am thinking I might be real tight now and I'm a little worried my meds won't go down since it has been less than 24 hours since my fill. Well, I worried for nothing as they slid right down. Geez if this doesn't get me in the green zone I guess I am SOL. I was in the zone once before but as I lost weight I fell back out of it.
It is only a tool, only a tool.............. (chanting)
Any of you vets never find, and stay, in the green zone?
