210.2 this morning!! So excited to see a zero at the end there! Can't wait for Onederland!!

@ 6.2 after my 3rd fill on Tues. I didn't think it was much of a difference until eating breakfast this morning. Whoa.
-
going in on the 2nd for my third fill. It only lasts a week or so before thing seem to taper off. We'll see how I do after another one.

I just noticed your links on your about me page. I have that bandwagon book and have really been inspired by that Dr. Simpson site. Those tips are very helpful aren't they? Seeking restriction is like chasing after a phantom. Keep up the good work! You are really inspiring to me! :-)

5.6CCs now and boy can I feel it!! We'll see how I do but I might need to get some taken out. Perhaps I'm just swollen though.

I've made strides since adopting some simple changes to my daily routine and attitude about what the band will and will not do for me. I feel great. I feel back in control and ready to get this weight off of me!!

This article had a strong effect on me. I have made some concrete positive changes that I think will drive me toward success. Once you let go of the idea that the band will tell you when to stop eating (restriction), you can focus on what's really important...being less hungry after eating small amounts. Here's the article...http://drsimpson.net/fills/Lap-band-eating/lap-band-not-restriction/lap-band-and-restriction.html

I'm pretty dissapointed in myself so far. I feel like I started this with so much gusto and now I'm falling back into old habits. I'm wondering if it's because I don't have much fill in or because I'm not following through, or is it both? I guess it's finally hitting me that the band will never solve anything, I have to get up and do it myself. I want to do better. I know I can.

I wonder if I can get to 215 by my first post-op appointment. That'd be 20 lbs lost in 1.5 months! I think I can do it!!
-
2 weeks post-op. 9 lbs gone. Getting anxious to get a fill and go back to Zumba class!
-
I love sleep. Everytime I wake up I feel so much better! This morning is the most normal I have felt since having surgery! What a difference 9 hours makes!

First day back went pretty smoothly although the pain in my chest was pretty annoying. Hopefully it goes away soon.
-
Feeling great this morning. Ready to go back to work tomorrow but thankful to have one more day to rest up. :-)
-
Two days out and gas pain is still here. Not very hungry...I have to remember to eat! I'm sure this will go away though.

Feeling better, although my abdomen is still pretty tight and sore. Nothing too bad though. Excited to go for a little walk today and see how I do.
