There is an article posted under the "Blogs" it is the first one on the page. Nationally they have changed their requirements, but still check with your insurance to see if the surgery is covered or if you would be self pay. Best of luck!! -

6 month waiting period

I too have Blue Cross Insurance, and I was able to fill out a form with my primary physicians care records to show that I had tried to loose for years and unsuccessful. Then I also had the BMI issue of 39-they wanted 40 or better or less than 40 with additional complications. I tried as sad as that sounds to "gain" and meet their BMI requirement, unsuccessful at that ended up putting things in my pockets, leaving my jacket on when I was weighed to meet the BMI. Best of luck. If you would like me to scan and attach the sample forms that I used I would be happy to. -

When you receive anesthesia during surgery it slows everything down, including #2. It is not uncommon for things to take up to 5 days or sometimes even longer to resume to normal. -

Do you have a Vitamin Shoppe near you?? They have a really good Tropical Mango and a Creamy vanilla in their store and on their website you can often find a 40% off coupon making it around $22 for a large jar of the Protein powder. Best of luck!!! Check out some of my other posts here-I have been trying to post different things that I have tried with the Protein powder including putting it in my decaf coffee. Jello jigglers from SF Jello have been a big hit with my kids to, so this way it is not so "strange" having these foods all of a sudden in our house that are for mom, they are now already part of our routine. -
