    Dissappointed!!!!

Thanks everyone. I guess you are all correct. Any lost is better than a gain. I think I know what my issue is. I have an extremely tight band 8.4 cc's. I started with 5cc's and went all the way up to 7.5cc's and I still experienced hunger. However, because of this restriction I am unable to eat sensibly. Lunch and dinner foods I vomit all the time so I have been drinking my calories and eating the foolish crunchy stuff. The reason I didn't get an unfill is because stupid me was thinking that I'll lose the weight faster but it's not working. I believe there may be some slippage of the band. I shall visit my doctor to have my band completely emptied and start over. I shall inform you guys of my progress in a couple weeks. Thanks again.

    Back On The Wagon

Thanks everyone for your comments. Exercise is not my problem I enjoy it and I work out daily. I will not give up. I think I need an unfill because I vomit frequently especially whent I eat the healthly stuff. Ofcause junk food -crunchy stuff goes down without a problem. Little by Little I'll get there.
  3. Thanks Alex. I'm so dissappointed. I was banded on January 19, 2011 and to date I've lost 34 ponnds. For the past four months I have not lost a pound. It's very slow for me. I feel that within a year I could have lost that amount on my own without the aid of the band.

Thank you! I eat roughly about 600calories per day, however I eat more veggies than protein. During the preop I lost 14 pounds. and 10 after surgery. Thanks for the info I will add more proteins.

    Slow

Hi everyone, I'm feeling frustrated!! I was banded on January 19th,2011. To date I've lost 10 pounds. Is this normal? Should I be feeling discourged? I have already gotten 3 fills and most upsetting is the fact that my food intake is very, very little and I walk for an hour four times per week. Could my band be faulty? Help please.
