That's nothing. One or two of those aren't going to kill you. Be careful with the gum though. They say chewing it can add air to the stomach.

Get yourself a ticker and copy the code. Then go to your profile and click edit profile and click edit signature. Paste the code into there and save. Your ticker will show up

Hi, my name is Gayle too! It worked out for me, so that means it must work out for you! lol. That's just simple logic!

I didn't have much restriction on the liquids phase. It will be very apparent when you get to more solid foods

Wait, I thought he broke up with you
-
how long were you with that guy?

If the blood was red and not black then it's fairly low, probably in your rectum. It would be black if it was any higher up so I don't think it's that dangerous

I am about a month out. And for the past couple weeks I haven't been losing much (if anything) which completely went to a stop and now I have gained a couple pounds. I am working out and tracking everything, but I wanted to know if anybody had any advice to give on how I could lose weight quicker (or actually at this point lose weight at all!) thanks so much

I'd find a new doctor. I had an OB/GYN that treated me like that once and I immediately found a new one. You need your doctor to be nice, not a jerk. Especially if you are going to be seeing him for a long time and you want to be able to trust him with your life. I love my doctor. You need to find one you love too

It does seem like you are able to eat quite a bit. I had shrimp on mother's day too but I was only able to eat 4. Maybe the shrimp I was eating was bigger than yours IDK, but I know that i tried to eat too eggs with cheese and could only eat one. I was pretty darn full. I don't like these people getting all over you, because I don't think you are cheating, but it does seem like you are able to eat quite a bit. I know I feel full pretty quickly but I have seen others who are able to eat two eggs.

I cheated too. But then I realized. If I was only that far out from surgery, and I was already not following the rules, what would happen when I could eat more? It's just not good news. I decided to get myself back on track. I think you should do that same

I still enjoy food. But I found that I don't like to bring home leftovers that much anymore. Like the next day it's still good. But I'm a little sensitive now so after a couple days of being in the fridge I get tired of it and it's just not appealing to me anymore. Maybe it's all mental, but I feel like I can tell it's going bad or something. IDK, I just give it to my fiancé most the time now

So I am almost 4 weeks post op. I am on mushies and can get full on not much food. But I feel hungry quite often. At least I think it is hungry. Could it be something else, like acid? I especially feel this in the middle of the night when I am laying down. But it doesn't feel like how acid felt before. I am on prilosec 40mg once a day, maybe I need to switch to something else? Or am I really hungry. I just ate maybe 45 minutes ago and I'm feeling "hungry" already. Any advice?

How many carbs do you guys eat a day during the losing stage?

I hear that this is a reaaaaaaallly bad idea. A lot of the resources I saw said at least 3 months apart. You need one person healthy to help the other person heal. Or if something goes wrong and has to take somebody else to the doctor it wouldn't be good to have the other on pain meds!

I have both of those. I haven't seen much of an improvement of them yet, but I'm only 3 weeks out. I am doing well though.

I wanted to go to a movie today. And I was wondering what everybody eats at the movie theater? What would be sleeve friendly?
-
first time i had cottage cheese I could only eat a 1/4 cup because it made me so full. You need to wait a couple minutes between bites so you give your body a chance to tell you that you are full.

I am not feeling much restriction either, and I am about 10 days out too. I think our swelling just went down really quick. My doctor assures me that the restriction will be very noticeable once we get to more solid foods

I think that's funny. My period started right before too. Then as soon as I got there it went into hiding for a week and a half, now it's starting again, lol

Baked ricotta
Used a container of fat free ricotta cheese, a container of sugar free Pasta sauce, one egg, italian spices, and some parm cheese. Mix it all together and put in a pan and put some shredded cheese on top and bake until bubbly. It's yumtastic

I had my sleeve just 3 days before you and I am doing pretty well too. Although I haven't had a period since a month before my surgery! I'm starting to feel really bloated and crampy so I think I got one coming on.
I'm glad you are doing so well. I'm happy for you. I've got a long ways to go to get to onederland, lol
