  1. I was banded 10/17/05 So about 15 mo for me. Yep those hiccups are real loud!! I did it on the phone once and the person asked me if I was okay I guess I may as well have screamed on the top of my lungs LOL! I think I will come sit by ya! I have been sittin here all alone in my shame! I am kinda new to this board. I have been going to OH and all I get there are judgements and newbies tellin me how to live with the band. Pardon me but a newbie tellin me how to work the band is like a newlywed tellin me what it is to be married! (I don't take well to that either! Been married 12 years LOL) Anyway I will be around here more often. Looks like I will need to improve my sig.! ~Angie
  2. Thanks for your reply. I worry that I have done this. I don't have the reflux anymore. And I don't think I am too tight (just a little in the mornings) But it seems I have developed this bad habbit of eating too much. I will be full and instead of stopping I will wait a few min till some goes through the band then take another bite wait a few min take another bite. It causes me to have bad hiccups and "burp up" a little and I swallow that back down. I must be crazy. I had this surgery to resolve my weight problems but it seems that even with the band I have the need to overeat. I will even choose foods that I know will go down easy just so I can do this! Seems like that it is really bad during PMS (tmi I know) ~sigh~ guess I am more of I nut job than I knew! Thanks again for your reply. I needed to find this info. -Angie
  3. My port was kind of loose as in not tacked down to the stomach. So I had to have it tacked back down b/c there was no control to be able to get the fill needle in. I went home 2 hours after surgery and went to a christmas party 2 days later. It wasn't a hard surgery to do.
  4. What did you do to fix the dilation? Did it just go back on its own?
  5. What other symptoms did you have to know if you were eroded? Didn't you have any other pain? My reflux has backed off quite a bit but still there and annoying leaveing a bad taste in my mouth. What did they do to repair the erosion?
  6. I don't remember it comming on all of the sudden. I just started noticing the noises more and more. As for the reflux that did start all of the sudden. 25th I had a throw up issue. (darn chocolate covered cherry) I was fine the 26th and all night the 27th but woke up that night with horrable heart burn and since then I have had little refluxing now and then during the day. Mainly only when I lay down.
  7. Recently (last month or so) my stomach has really been gurgling loud and often. I mean LOUD and like all the time. When I get up in the morning it starts and only calms down a little during the day while I am getting food and water in I guess. It has just started and it is really loud and my stomach seems very active to me. Also I have started noticeing a bad taste in my mouth because I have been burping a little more too. And a lot of the time some liquid pops up with it. (reflux?) I am not eating different foods than before or anything. Do you think it is normal or is it a sign of something more serious like a slip, erosion, pouch/esoph. dialation? I have no pain. Only very little with the reflux
