Im looking for dec sleevers im getting sleeved dec 17th would to hear from ya'll

I've was almost 2 yrs and I had alot of scar tissue but im very happy you get to get yours all at once i wish i could of cause i had lost almost 200 lbs but ive put over 20 lbs back on and i dont want to go up i want to go down! Good luck and please keep us posted praying for you

Im not having mine removed on the same day but i had my band removed in aug and then im getting sleeved in dec! How long had you been banded for?

So I found out yesterday that i have a set date for dec 17th which i thought i was going to be getting sleeved in november but my surgeon says he feels I need a little more time for healing from having my lapband removed in aug which i did have alot of scar tissue! Im dissapointed but this is the way im looking at it is My surgeon is a awesome man and I know he knows whats best for me and besides that Its all in Gods timing which i know he comes first and he's the boss ! What is that saying all good things come to those who wait???

I did the same thing on the day of my surgery and i did cry because i felt i had work so hard and then it was being took away from but then again i was very hormonal cause mother nature come a day after my surgery so it wasnt a very good time

I to had my band for almost 2 yrs had great success with it lost nearly 200 lbs then in april it all went to hell in a hand basket please excuse my language but seriously it went that was had a slight slip in april started having major reflux then they let the stomach fall back down then in june i started having problems would wake myself up in my sleep cause i was choking on stuff that was coming up then i was put in the hospital cause of blood clots and had to have my surgeon come unfill me cause i set up all night vomiting and having these horrific hiccups that hurt so bad then after a couple of weeks went and had a slight fill not then at the end of august in a days time i started throwing up and couldnt drink it felt like razor blades going down it hurt so back and felt like there was a knife in my back going all the way to the front went in they did a swallow and i had a obstruction nothing was going through then had a scope and found a major slip and my stomach had folded in half had it removed the next day !

I had a partial slip in april and i just had major acid reflex then it just went down hill from there im thinking it fully slipped in june and then i started putting on weight then at the end of august thats when i had the emergency surgery and it ended up my stomach folded in half and i got a obstruction in there i am to glad to to have it out and start my new journey with the sleeve when i get it in november !

She is probably to tight and i had hair loss and i was told that was because i was getting enough protein !

This is probably awful to ask but when i had my band before i had to have a emergency surgery cause of major slip did it feel like you were swallowing razor blades when you drank something this was when i was to tight and then nothing was going down when i had the slip ?

I just got approved last week and fingers crossed they said i will be sleeved in november

my family is very supportive and i yes i was scared to tell my family for the fact you never know what there going to say because it is a major surgery and they worry but when in realty when they have watched me struggle for years with my weight and health and when i had the band they watched me succeed with it and then after i had it took out for a major slip and i tell them after putting almost 20 lbs back on and telling them i dont want to go back to the old 441 lb person i once was they understand ! But i understand where you guys are coming from if they arent supportive i would be scared completely out of my mind

Ok alot of people dont know what it is ! Factor V leiden is a genetic blood disorder where your blood is to thick and you can throw blood clots easly ! I found out i had it 10 yrs ago and have been on coumadin . Just curious if anyone else on here had the same issues????
