    Trouble With Lap Band Fill?

Thanks everyone. I definitely was too full and had to end up getting the 1/2 cc completely taken back out. I don't know why I'm so sensitive but I will have to stick to 1/4 cc fills.
  4. I just had a 1/2 cc fill after only having a 1/4 cc fill a couple of months ago. I drank liquids fine yesterday. Today I have not been able to drink any liquid and continue to slim up. I'm not sure if this could be due to swelling or irritation. Any input from anyone??????
  5. Two months post op with 2 ccs fill and have lost 25lbs. I thought I'd do a little better than that but then again, I haven't been eating as well as I should be. It's time to get back on track and kick myself in the butt!

  6. Thanks for the livestrong.com tip. I'm way under my calorie intake. This is such a great tool! Thanks!. Yemy
  7. Thanks for all of the comments, it really helps to get a feel for what could help. For me personally, I have not vomited yet but I also haven't had a fills yet. I have to imagine that once I get a fill it will be much more sensitive. I hope we all remember to chew more and eat slower .
  8. I feel exactly the same, no difference. Its hard to not want to eat when your hungry. Its great reading everyone's post. It makes me feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks!
  9. I'm experiencing the same thing. I'm in my second week of post op and I'm hungry alot of the times. I try to drink alot of water. I forgot about the jello so thats a great reminder, thanks. I'm just trying to tough it out between meals.
  10. I had surgery almost two weeks ago. I'm on regular soft foods. I think my food is getting stuck sometimes because OMG do I have this terrible pain in my chest and don't know what to do. I try to chew my food as best as I can but I sometimes forget. My whole life I have eaten fast and I don't chew very well. So now I'm trying to reteach my self new habits. Today I had such a bad episode and I didn't know if I should drink something or if I should throw up or let it be. I know that I'm not supposed to have liquids with my meal so what do you do in this situation???? It finally passed. It didn't want to come back up and it took its sweet time going down. Ugh, it hurt but that teaches me. I won't being doing that again.

    Gas pain

I was also getting the same pain. I woke up from surgery with the shoulder pain. I continued to get it every single time I would have gas build up. It didn't go away until I took some prescribed naproxen to reduce the inflammation and relax the muscles. I haven't had a problem since. I hope this helps. Good luck!
  12. 10th day of post-op. Steri-strips are gone. Thank god, because I had a bad allergic reaction to them. I don't feel any tightness anymore and I'm on normal foods now. I do feel some restriction. I get full sooner than I normally would so I can't wait until I actually have my first fill to see what my restriction will be then.

  13. Good Luck Kiskis! Keep us posted.

  14. Yes I did, how about yourself?

  15. Did you have surgery Thursday as well?
