Hi Mimi;
It hurt! Im not going to lie! I did take the offered pain meds from the nurses the first time later that evening but could refuse later. I just felt really really tight all over! I think the gas hurt more than anything. My core muscles are really still pretty weak so I find the lack of strength more frustrating than the pain. 3 days out and the pain is minimal.

No, not 50lbs since my band (I wish lol!)... only 20 since the band. I really started losing about a year before the band!

Thanks for popping in on my blog! Glad you took the time to read! I am going to try to keep everyone posted and have to admit that I draw on the feedback from those who have been there and are going there. Its a big deal and not a silver bullet. I know it wont be easy either and am counting on my attitiude to get me through this. Motivation comes only from oneself!

Got another fill this am. Opted for .5 of a cc. 1 Year post op. Last one was in September at 1cc. Now at 5.5 ccs total in my 11cc Realize band. How much saline is in your band?
