  1. Tomorrow I have orientation and I'm a little nervous. I've been sticking to my diet all week and doing well and is it wierd that I am nervous that I will lose so much that by the time I get the lapband it will be time for a plateau and I won't lose anything else? Good heavens is there anything else I could worry about this this surgery? LOL

    Kaiser Richmond Pre-op

My main hospital is Santa Rosa, my Overview is in Santa Clara and my Orientation is in San Francisco LOL To bad - it would have been so nice to find this board and people going to the same classes as me!
  3. Yes she is healthy. I will be posting often as my process continues! Thank you for the answer.

    Kaiser Richmond Pre-op

Wait is Orientation different than the required Kaiser "Weightloss Surgery Overview" .. I've signed up for that one but I am looking at my online appointment guide and now also see I am signed up for one labeled orientation as well. Do I need to do both?
  5. So someone asked me a question today and I didn't know how to answer it. She said, "With what you eat after surgery, it's such a small amount, how is it different than you having an eating disorder?" Her point was, how is it healthy, we don't lose our hair etc. etc. It was a valid question and I'll be interested in taking the class to see what the answer is.
  6. I had my initial Doctor's appointment yesterday and I have the Kaiser "Weight Loss Surgery Overview" next week on the 11th here in California. The Doctor has already put in my referral for surgery in San Francisco but she also had me sign up for a 14 week series with Kaiser. I understand now that it's not required but I will take it anyway because knowledge is power right? I'm just hoping that it moved forward quickly!
