Hi that happened to me before. Your band is filled way too tight. It helps for losing weight but your quality of life will deteriorate. I hate to be a downer but I just experienced the same thing. When liquids become a problem, the band it way too tight. i have also experienced the saliva problem. I also developed heart burn, migraines and some other digestive issues. After I went back to the Dr. all of my problems disappeared. I hope this helps. Good Luck, let me know how it goes. Goldy
