  3. :nervous ummmm ummmmm LOL " singing the song .... I'm a model and you know what I mean " Come see me in 40 lbs My vote is Neal ! :clap2:
  4. My surgeon was pushing for the Bypass surgery because I was 389 lbs and he figured the success rate was better. I guess it looks better for his stats when his patients loose more. Well now 7 months out I weigh 244 so pfffft to him and his bypass. I have a friend who was the exact same weight as me and had bypass a week after I had my surgery. Well I have lost more than him and he is having nutrition problems. We went out and he was complaining about how so many foods he can't eat now. I am happy I stuck to my guns. Just remember work your band to its fullest and you will lose the weight !
  5. oh yeah this is a good site for carry information AR15.COM :: Forums :: Handguns
  6. Sorry it took so long for the response. I was out of state for a week. I just used a basic belt holster that was nothing special. Wore long enough shirts to cover it. I carried my 1911 45cal. I resigned from law enforcement and moved to Florida and am now in the process of getting my permit down here. I can't wait I miss carrying . :nervous

Exactly ! My father only spanked me once. It wasn't a crazy out of hand one but he never needed to do it again. Out of shame of upsetting him.
  8. WTH is wrong with people today ! Warning Labels Placed On "Sesame Street" DVDs|Memphis News, Entertainment, Business Search and Shopping
  9. Sad isn't it ?
  10. OK not going to judge your relationship on this instance because I cant tell by a story on an internet forum. Just going to say it sounds like he is being a bit selfish in this story. I don't think he is intentionally doing this but now he is just used to it. Just brake him of the attitude. I don't think he intentionally does this but when he gets upset dumb shit comes out. Give him this excuse he is a guy and we say dumb hurtful shit sometimes. From what I gather from your story he is one of the guys guy kind of guy with all the hunting and stuff. So that gives him that me man you woman attitude. Just talk to him and explain yourself. I am sure he loves you or he would not be with you. Maybe he is just nervous because he thinks if you lose the weight you will leave him? My GF of 4 years (soon to be wife , not engaged yet :nervous I am in the same boat as you guys) was nervous about me losing weight. She felt I would leave her when I was thinner. After some time and a lot of talks things are better now and she is loving life. Sex is better :biggrin1: now !
  11. now let me read between his lines for you.... I don't agree in WLS because it will not line my pockets when my patients are no longer here. Job Security! :biggrin1:
  12. Are you exercising and how much ? That may be the key and usually is. Plus like everyone else said I try and stay 800- 1200 cals a day and keep away from carb heavy foods plus NO SODAS !
  13. Thanks for the responses everyone. I was kind of leaning that way also but just wanted a little reassurance I guess. Just my nerves needed a little support LOL.
  14. OK here is my dilemma. I am so so on my fill now and some days I have restriction and some days it seems I don't. I recently moved to Florida (sept.) and have not had a fill since. I am going home to NJ next week and could call my Doc to get a fill but don't know if thats a good idea. The weight loss has slowed down a tad but still loosing. Now here is the real kicker. The thing is I am going to the Middle East (Iraq) for a year for work and only get a 2 week vacation every 4 months. Should I get the fill or even maybe unfill a bit so I don't take any chances of complications ? I will have no access to any lap band Docs at all when away. Just for knowledge does anyone know the size or type of needle that is used to unfill? Just in case there are complications the military docs could unfill. hmmmm what to do .............:phanvan
  15. The reference being used was not of salary but of dark humor. No not all Docs work on salary. Example being your lap band surgeon. They only gets paid when they do surgery's. Some Firefighters work on a paid call type pay. They only get paid when they go on calls.
  16. Neil was probably dehydrated before hand so I don't think he would of had to worry about that. I wonder how much Water weight they loose in a day. I know I can be 3- 5 lbs lighter just working out for 2 hours.
  17. Seeing Kae get sent home really upset Neil. I love how he told them to bring it on ! Dude is on a serious mission now.
  18. Only after they use the search function !
  19. Lighten up and don't jump down my throat. I agree with you all ! There is a time and a place for them to say stuff like that and I agree. PS: I was a career firefighter in a large city and still a Vol FF. You would be surprised what is said in a firehouse or during a fire.
  20. I know where you are coming from but you would have to put yourself in there shoes. It is there lively hood and is how they pay there bills. I am surprised that when there are accidents that there isn't a certain tow company that the PD calls. I know where I used to live thats how it worked for accidents. Remember its just a sick sense of humor like Doctors, Nurses, Police and Fire have. For them accidents = Job Security.
  21. LMAO I was just thinking of posting a rant about the same exact thing ! I am tired of the whiners complaining and saying the band isn't working for them. Get off your asses and make it work !
  22. Exactly. By her lobbying to kick off Amy she basically sealed the cowboys fate of going home. It backfired on her. If the cowboy was still there the red team may have been better off. I hate when the trainers get involved in the game aspect of the show. IMO they need to just train and step the heck back. Another thing that pisses me off is when people get pissed when a person actually plays the game. Neil comes to mind with his weight throw off. Its a game and there is a lot of money at stake. He tried to protect his people. Now he is proving everyone wrong and loosing double digits every week !
