    feeling full

Its nothing like before, for me. it took a long time for me to adjust to thinking of this new feeling as "full" but now i do. At first, it just felt like pain and pressure, but later you will recognize it as fullness. the only time i ever feel full like from before is when i eat a lot of something that is easy to eat, like cream soup or coffee or even milkshakes sometimes. (those are cheating foods tho, i try not to mess with those)
  4. So, I have really horrible periods, which sometimes cause vomiting... this last cycle, I had vomiting, which was the first time its happened since my surgery in December. I couldnt stop writhing and dry-heaving and i was SO afraid the whole time because I knew that it could cause band slippage. For the next three days I couldnt keep any food down other than Water (although, i must admit, I was extremely stressed out as well). Since then (almost two weeks) I've been on and off with keeping food down and have woken up a few times in the middle of the night coughing because there was acid in my throat. I also have felt weird pain in my abdomen on my left side at times.. it almost feels like gas? i dont know.. does it sound like slippage? Im so afraid.. I dont want another surgery.. my first one was in Mexico and I had the worst complications and had to stay there for so long after.. I just dont want to go through it again.. any info? anyone go through this? help! and thanks in advance
  5. Hi all- So i did what so many do, and came to Monterrey Mexico for my lapband surgery. My sister had done a lot of research on this doctor, and my cousin had the procedure done two years ago with him and had amazing results. I had the surgery on Monday (12/13) and I was supposed to leave back to the states on wednesday... its sunday and im still in Mexico.. I'm having a few complications, and I cant find much online about other's experiences with this.. I've had three barium tests, and basically my pouch is not wanting to pass any liquid into my big stomach because its too swollen in there. It feels painful, like constant heartburn and somedays, i can barely keep anything down. Ive been put on IV fluids a few times to avoid dehydration... but I keep getting told that the swelling HAS to go down.. The doctor doesn't want me to fly yet because the pressure in the plane will increase the swelling.. Ive had like 5 inter muscular anti-inflammatory shots in my butt (that hurt) and still my tests dont show much improvement.... At this point, im just scared that they are going to make me have another surgery to fix this. I feel so miserable and regretful.. i wish i didnt.. but im a week into my surgery and not enough progress has come... has anyone else had these issues? needed revisions? please help, any advice is welcomed. I just wish i was home and in my own bed xoxo ps- when can i start laying on my side?
