Ok. secret confession. I too, felt bad for him, however, this didn't change the fact that he had NO BUSINESS being there. Think about it.. All over the world.. people know who he is. We haven't seen the last of him. T

    first fill experiences

I have the smaller band that holds 4cc's. My 1st fill was on 4/2, 5 weeks post op and had 'Optimum Sweet Spot' restriction for 9-10 days and it has lessened HOWEVER, I am DEF still experiencing restriction. He put in 2.2 cc's and I am going back on 4/23. Honsetly I see saw back and forth on whether or not he will be putting in more or not. I would like to get back to the tighter restriction of the 1st 9 days but can tell it won't take much. I am restricted the most in the a.m. and gradually it loosens up by the end of the day, however, I am still restricted. I have to be REALLY careful on the size bites I take. Just tonight I took to large a bit of chicken breast.. chewed the bejezus out of it and sonuvabeeatch it hurt going down.. because the size of what I put in my mouth was TO BIG. I will learn eventually I reckon.

" I realized quickly that all the mothers up at the park gave me really bad looks. I was trying to walk fast and I ended up getting all red faced and sweaty...HOW EMBARRASSING.....I would walk in circles around the playground keeping my eye on my daughter......and i literally saw a mom whisper to one of her friends and her friend looked up right at me.....WTF!!!! Im walking aren't I!!?!?!?! So after the Park we came back to the house and dug ourselves into a massive collection of cookbooks my sister brought along." THOSE STUPID IGNORANT MOTHERFUCKINGBITCHES. Don't you DARE let them get you down. What is WRONG with our society??? I too have experienced meanies like this. I bet you can't wait for the day when you get to 'priss' by those saggy assed freaks. I am so sorry. try to turn your embarrasment in to something positive... kind of like a vacuum. suck in the bad.. recycle it and blow out the positive. Next time maybe you can wave at them and be all sweet. sorry to rant. xo Tracy

Ok sister.. you have inspired me to get off my arse! I let weather rule as an excuse not to walk last week. Yesterday I walked for 30 minutes 1.6 miles. Today I went to the park and walked a premeasured two frickin' miles!!!! WHOOT! T
  14. Yesterday I did 30 min on my lunch break which is 1.6 miles according to the people at work. TODAY however... I went to the park and walked around the lake which is premeasured to be exactly 2 miles. I started it at 4:36 and finished at 5:17 which is a decent clip for a person of my size I think and it took me 5,014 steps (according to my NEW free Chicken Little pedometer that a co-worker gave me out of a cereal box... whatever works man.. What's cool about all this is NO LOWER BACK PAIN! now as far as the REST of my body goes... hmmph My hubby let me order a Refurbished iPod off of the Apple site for me to walk with (that my ex hubby suggested... I lead an interesting life.. what can I say..) I Can't WAIT to get that puppy in! Of course, the challenge for me will be figuring out how on EARTH to get music on it off of my computer. I'm so excited.. now I can bust a move to ABBA, Jack Johnson, Simon & Garfunkle, Nickel Creek, Dixie Chicks & Blue October.. just to name a few. I'll have to be careful.. I'm liable to dance my way around the lake when Cecelia comes on. My restriction is still more than in the a.m. and by supper, though I'm not NEAR what I used to be and I still have to be careful WHAT it is to avoid the dreaded PB I can def eat more by supper time. I've been eating about 1/8 cup of cut up Spring Greens (hubby bought me a Hinkle scissor and knife set) 1-2 cut up strawberries, one cut up low fat string cheese and vinaigrette. It's VERY good. if that's all I'm having I'll add extra cheese for protein, & do about 1/2 cup of greens, or If I have fixed bacon for my hubby I'll cut up a couple of strips of that. Tonight I am fixing one of those Campbell's supper bakes.. garlic something. It comes with pasta and I'll only be able to eat like 2 or 3 pieces of that and the chicken we'll have to see. The whole thing is an experiment. I don't know WHAT I'd do without sFree popsicles. Good for late night cravings. Ok.. I'm like rambling now. More tomorrow Cheers!

My favorite thing! * Excerpts from a Cat's Diary* Day 983 of my captivity... My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet. Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am. There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage. Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs. I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded. The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now...

Paying $325.00 per fill, too much?

My fills are covered for a year. AFter that I'm not sure, but my doc seems to think unless I need and unfill, I won't need any adjustments after that time period. I have the smaller band. T

    February 2007 bandsters!

MAN.. I'm feeling ya. I am now 11/12 days post 1st fill and my complete restriction I was feeling all this time is wearing off. It's kind of funny actually cause I called my doc and asking if I would still need to come in if I didn't need a fill and she just kind of laughed and said yes, they wanted to check in with me and weigh me & stuff. Well,, SHE knew that by the time the 23rd rolled around I'd be begging for more!!!!:straight Monday when I went to blue coast I was only able to eat 10 v small bites of my burrito. Today when I went and got the same exact small burrito I ate all the innards and left the tortilla. I'm starting to get snacky too. Thank goodness I brought in some string cheese to stave off 'the beast' T

    Who Did You Tell?

YOu know, it's funny that you say that. Even though I have been an open book and told everyone, part of my explanation without even being asked was that it WASN'T gastric By-pass. not sure why I felt that was necessary but it was almost like a rabid compulsion to make sure they knew the difference...
