Loss of a good friend by her choice

THAT'S IT THAT'S IT!!!!!! The email poem I was talking about. Some people are in your life for a REASON, and when that is done, they are gone, Others are in your life for a SEASON, and when the season is over, they are gone. Then there are the ones that are for LIFE and those are VERY few and far between. A lot of times we mistake reason & season friends for lifers but they are not and there will be others to come along. I found the poem on google. Take a read.. IT"S GREAT People Come Into Your Life For A Reason, A Season Or A Lifetime Unknown Author When you figure out which one it is, you will know what to do for each person. When someone is in your life for a REASON. . . It is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered. And now it is time to move on. Then people come into your life for a SEASON.... Because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season. LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons : things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. How much of this poem, can you relate to?

Should Pets be more than Property?

I thought I would share this with you.. March 22, 2007 We want to provide an update on the recent recall of "wet" pet foods produced by Menu Foods, Inc. We are deeply saddened by this situation. We know it has caused a lot of concern and has touched pet lovers throughout North America, including our own employees. We've received a lot of questions, so we want to give you the latest information. First, we want to assure you that this recall affects only a small portion of our "wet" pet food products manufactured at the Menu Foods plant in Emporia, Kansas. We have a variety of canned wet food products that are currently available on store shelves that are not affected in any way by this recall. We also want to assure you that our Iams and Eukanuba dry foods are not affected by the recall, and are readily available in stores. These foods are not part of the recall – there are no concerns at all about dry food. P&G manufactures Iams and Eukanuba dry foods at our own plants, not at Menu Foods. You may wonder why some "wet" food was produced at Menu Foods. In fact, virtually every pet food company commonly uses outside partners for special or small volume items. Nonetheless, the different branded products made by Menu are not "the same". Our Iams and Eukanuba pet foods have unique recipes and important ingredient differences that distinguish them from other pet food brands. Because of our concern for pets and their well-being, we took immediate action to voluntarily participate in Menu Foods' "wet" food product recall and to work with retailers to get the small portion of our "wet" products affected by the recall off all store shelves in the U.S. and Canada. Until the root cause of this pet health issue is found, we will not produce any more of these products at the Emporia plant. We'll keep you updated when we have more information. Pets are an important part of all of our families. P&G Pet Care employees share your concerns and are firmly committed to you and the health of your pet. We are working hard to respond to your questions, and provide the information and help you need. We value your trust and confidence during this extremely difficult time. P&G Pet Care

OH MY FUCKING GOSH. Well,, here is the reason hundreds of pets where killed... Rat Poison Cited In Pet food Recall Wheat From China Contaminated, Lab Says POSTED: 9:52 am CDT March 23, 2007 E-mail this story | Print this story A spokeswoman for the New York state Department of Agriculture and Markets said Friday that rodent poison was found in tainted pet food that killed several animals and sparked a nationwide recall. It is believed that the chemical aminopterin was on wheat imported from China, ABC News reported. Various online medical sources indicate that aminopterin is also used in trials to treat leukemia. // Set DC ad positionif(typeof dcadposition == 'undefined')dcadposition = 1;else dcadposition++;if (typeof segQS == 'undefined')segQS='';if (typeof adid == 'undefined')adid='false';document.write(""); [/url]if ((!document.images && navigator.userAgent.indexOf("Mozilla/2.") >= 0) || navigator.userAgent.indexOf("WebTV")>= 0) {document.write("");document.write("");} By the way.. the only food it affected was the meat in Gravy kind in both pouches and cans.

I was thinking for me it would come in handy at a buffet so I didn't have to pay the full adult price and they don't allow you to eat off of anothers ones plate.

That's what got me man. I only feed my girls Iams Multi-cat Dry. They get nothing else. Iams is.. I THOUGHT a brand I could trust.. I thought they had their own f'in lab and made their own damn food. I will continue to feed them the dry iams because when you read the ingredients the ash content is low etc etc. Maybe it's only the one type of food that they have another company make for them.. Maybe menu foods makes for all the different company but has a different recipe for the different company and different ingredients. They think it's coming down to the wheat gluten. Is a $100 per pet enough? Hell f'in no. Should you get the same $ compensation as a human child.. well, no I don't think so but to pay them off as if they were property is an insult. Our cats are our kids and I would be HOLY HELL PISSED if my babies died because I FED them food from a company I thought I could trust. I mean crap, Kidney failure is not the nice way to go. I think a few owners probably view their pets as property, however, I think there is a larger majority that view their pets, regardless of species, as part of the family. This also brings to my mind, the idiots out there that neglect and abuse animals and get of with a stinkin' baby fine a day or two in jail and a slap on the a$$. Pets, like children, are innocent and depend on us to take care of them. I'm a huge supporter of the ASPCA and I wonder if they had any deaths because of this. T

My DH's family are all 'normal size to small' Well I'm 5'6" and weigh over 300 and even though they are all crazy about me I'm still SUPER self concious around them. I was decorating their Xmas tree for them and I leaned on the little table stand and OH MY GOD>>>>> IT F'ING BROKE. I thought I was going to CRY. I was SO EMBARRASSED. They tried to make light of it and say.. it's a cheap table and it wasn't put together well.. etc etc etc. My DH glued and clamped it back together while we were upstairs and I boo hoo'd like an idiot. Restaurant Card

Restaurant Card for kids portions Check this out.. this is so cool! You can print this card up and take it to restaurants so you can order off of the kids menu. There is also a list of places that already allows adults to order kids size meals. http://www.obesityhelp.com/magazine/RestaurantCard.html Basically it explains that you've had surgery that olmits your ability to eat a large amount of food, and it requests that you be premitted to order off the children's menu or to order half portions. Of course, it's up to the retaurant whether it will honor the card. One one side of the card is the name & address of the practice * the surgeon & on the other side is the request information.

Im a mess, I cant stop crying, Please help me

It will be ok bubbles. Hang in there, and like other said.. CRY CRY CRY.. You will be gowing through a mourning process that takes time. In the meantime LOVE YOURSELF. You can' see it right now but YOU are wonderful and you have stood up and made a decision to become healthy and to be the best person you can be. Just think, in a year you can be like "look at me you dumb beeotch.. see what you gave up???" I wish I was there to hug you but I am sending you healing energy.. this is a rough time anyway emotionally right after surgery even without other stresses so don't be hard on yourself, you are beautiful and you are worth much much more. Think of what you would do and say if one of your close freinds were to call you crying because this happened to them and what you would to and say for them. Tracy

Loss of a good friend by her choice

There was an email that went around a year or so ago about different types of friends, and of course, with my memory about the size of a gnat, I don't even come close to remembering exactly what it said but it was a little poem type thing.. some people are just there for a season some people are just there for a ------- (longer period of time) and then there are the others that are there for life. It's an awesome poem and I'm sorry I can't remember it but it's so true. Not everyone is meant to be a permenant part of our lives and though it hurts like hades, we have to cut the strings and say goodbye and gleen what we can from the experience. I have had a couple of painful freind breakups in my life and some that just faded away but I do not regret any of them. I'm sorry you are going through such a rough time. Love yourself and if it's meant to be, she will come back. Tracy

    March 2007 Bandsters

I am SO sorry. I do not know your situation or your reasons behind choosing to keep your procedure a secret but in my opinion, not knowing, I think you should let your family know you had surgery. From what I can tell, it might cause issues if you aren't able to be there, and I don't think you should push yourself TO be there. If you do go, and they don't know you had anything done, how will you explain your soreness and being tired etc? They will think something is wrong. My thoughts are with you, Just my 2 cents.. and probably not worth that much. T

Religion is MANmade. Spirituality is totally different. As far as porn, it can REALLY enhance a couple's sex life. My hubby travels and when he is on the road I encourage it. There are free sights out there and it doesn't cost us a dime. When in the mood.. I LOVE the stuff. I know plenty of other females that like it as well.. so different STROKES for different folks.. no pun intended. I don't think it should be outlawed but I don't have a problem with paying higher taxes on stuff like porn, smokes and alcohol. T Porn grosses more money that legit movies, so who is watching all the porn? Could it be that most Christians and MANY females are liars?

You hit it right on the head for me. Food, is my addiction. Whether it be phsyical/emotional or both.. addicted I am and it's a huge issue we still have to face after being banded. My husband, though he only weighs 165 soaking wet, can relate because he is an alcoholic(recovering, hasn't had a drink in 5 yrs) and said basically the only difference that he can see is that I still have to eat to survive but be able to eat and moderate it, and he doesn't have to drink to survive. We don't keep alcohol in the house or go to parties that will serve it.. it's kind of hard to avoid food. good luck, Tracy
