Hi Audrey, how are you doing? It has been almost 2 years since our surgery and I just got into my size 6 pants this morning - I am so excited!

Yourowndestiney, Please research your doctor, try to talk to different people. A week before the surgery is not the time for you to be insecure but I have heard of many stories about bands being placed in the wrong position. don`t you qualify for insurance with a good surgeon here in the US? Why have you chosen Dr. Huacuz? Have you tried to type his name on google?

Please investigate him further.

I am LDS as well, I have lived in Utah but now we are in NC. My husband was transfered here. I am originally from Brazil and he is from Moab, UT. There are 2 sisters banded in our ward, I am one of them. I am on plateau now and need to get exercising in order to "melt" the lefover pounds
