It has been awhile since I have been on the site but once again I forgot my password. I'm doing really good thus far. My preop weight: 317 pounds Now: 284.3. I just received my first fill a week ago. I had to be taken back into surgery for a revision due to my ports kept flipping when my surgeon tried to give a fill.

Hello everyone. I just started going to my lapband appointments in November. I still have a little ways to go before my surgery date. My estimated schedule surgery will be in February 2011. I'm excited but scared. I have many feelings that are racing through my head. I'm working on a workout routine. I had a membership to the gym for about a year but have not attended faithfully. Now, since I have decided to have the lapband procedure, I have been working on a exercise program. I worked out today for 1 hour and I was proud of myself. In the past, I have only worked out for 30 minutes. When I started the program, my weight was 317. Now, the weight is 315. My goal weight before the surgery was set at 305. It is really hard but I'm trying. It is the holiday season and I haven't gain any weight so I guess that is a plus.

I just had my 4th appointment with the physician this week. I have 2 appointments left in January. I walked out of the office in tears. I'm not losing any weight but I'm maintaining. I haven't gain any weight which I guess is a plus. They want me to lose 15 pounds before my surgery plus kick the smoking habit. The smoking habit is going to hard for me and I don't know if I can do it. I have been working out but not enough I guess. Right now, I'm down about the whole thing ...

WOW. That is fast. I have been going to appointments since November and classes will not be done until January than I will get a surgery date. I think I would have postponed the surgery too. I'm still shock of reading your post. -

I'm so excited for you Kelsey. I have been going to classes since November. My expected surgery date is February 2011. I'm not sure yet. I wish you the best. Also, I new to this site. I thought I could use all the support that I can get right now and post operative. Good luck. -
