    Where Is Incision?

In the end once all is said and done it doesn't really matter where they start because when you are in the process of loosing weight they move. mine are not even close to where they started. Except the one center right below my breast that one has only moved south a little.

    Can't Afford Plastics :,(

With weight loss that we all have with this surgery the skin needs time to catch up. Your skin is not really like a rubber band instantly snapping back in place but give it some time. I know I am going to need some plastics but I am going from a 42H down to where ever I end up at my goal weight. And my firt baby was 9lbs and I am only 5'3". I also have a plan to be at goal weight for at least a year to give my skin its time on it own before surgery.

    My Protein Shake Panacea

I was NEVER told I had to get all my protein in while on my liquid diet. The nut and Dr only stressed not getting dehydrated. I was on clear liquids only for 14 days including drinkable yogurt starting day 4. In that two weeks I only had protein that came in broth form or yogurt.

    Last Lane Bryant Purchase!

I had to shop there a few weeks ago but for a bra. I did pick up a few things in a 14 for myself. But I am afraid I will have to bra shop there for a while. since I am still a 40DDD down from a 42H but I really measure a 38 but no cup size big enought 38.
  5. my sleeve doesn't care for am's either but I can say if I over eat just a tiny bit the night before I pay for it the next am. So I really try to focus when eating dinner and eat slow so I can tell when I am full. Also stress level makes my morning rough too.
  6. yes I felt like I had an ice cube or something stuck all the time it did go away around week 5 post op. I think it was just swelling. It would help me if i had as hot as I could stand tea in the am. It seemed to relax my whole digestive system.
  7. I am 5 months out and down 70 at the 3 month mark I was down 53lbs.

    Stop Loosing....need Help!

I agree with Dez with have a trick the body day. Also check and really count your protein just when you think you are getting enough you just might not be. I was at a stall for a very long time and had to go on what I call a protein binge and eat nothing but protein all day for a few days kicked in and I dropped 8lbs that week.

How Long Are You In Surgery?

I was in the OR for 75 minutes. I did have a drain but it depends on if your Dr uses one. I had my drain in for 3 days Surgery Monday and drain out Thursday.

    Incision Discomfort?

very normal as they are taking instruments in and out of the opening. I would suggest taking a flat bed sheet and folding it then wrapping with medical tape to make a firm little pillow. You can use this when getting in and out of the car. sitting and getting up from sitting. just press the pillow that you made against your incision sight that is soar. This will help hold everything in place while moving around. HTH. I didn't have to do this with this surgery but I did with my first c section. Well the nurse in the hospital did it for me.

    Jerks.

I don't expect the world around me to ever change. I am the one that chose to have this surgery and the world is going to stay as it was. I am the one that is going to have to deal with my eating issues in this world. I hope this doesn't come across mean as that is not how I mean it. I just know 5months out I had battles bigger than I ever could imagine before surgery and they all came out after and I was slef medicating for everything with food.

    How Many Pounds?

I am 5 months post op and down 70lbs. I was told my goal from the Nut at the Dr's office. and that is 174 but I have my own person goal and it is less than that because I am only 5'3"

    Hcg

I tried HCG a while before surgery just for weight loss. It did work but not like it did for my friend but I also have some food allergies that limited my food choices on it. My friend lost 80lbs doing it but gained 40 back after she stopped.
  15. I would suggest if you don't want it going around the office don't tell anyone even your office bff about your surgery because it will get out. So it might have gotten out with out you knowing just yet and that can be some of the bad talking. I would suggest just ignoring it for the most part it will go away. If someone asks you something about your weight loss answer them in the most comfortable way you can answer their question.

    Blurred Vision

There are many things dry eyes can so dehydration can. Also hormone changes can and after surgery you will have many changes due to your body catching up with loss of fat and estrogen.
  17. Normal, I felt like I had a lump in my esophagus all the time fore the first 8 weeks. I felt room temp drinks worked better for me and Hot in the am. When I would drink cold things it was like my tiny tummy would spasm/constrict. I also had a hard time getting 64 oz in I would get 40-60 usually but I would try to do G2 .

Is There Spice After The Sleeve?

GERD might go away it isn't also something you may not have forever as the bacteria in your stomach can change and also just by the foods you eat too. If you have been away from your spices for awhile it will might take time to build you heat tolerance back up. I like spicy since my March 2012 surgery.
  19. Full liquids include shakes and that is where you will get it from. Plan on sipping all day. It would take me all day to drink my shakes. I would have 2 drinks going at all times my shake and my G2.
  20. It doesn't matter if you did or didn't have an issue with reflux before surgery. I suggest you start with a PPI. 2nd you could have drank too fast your tiny tummy will take a little while to catch up I know in the fist month I could do NOTHING while drinking/eating I had to really pay attention to how much I was having, how fast, and how many times I chewed.

    My Drain Fell Out!

I had a drain and THERE IS NO Way in heck the type of drain I had would have fallen out.

    Bras ?

I did have One tiny one there that would rub with some bras but not all I wore a 42H when I had surgery. I did have a issue with a few bras at a few points if the healing process but I would just put some gauze there and it was all good.
  23. I could start full on day 8 but I could have drinkable yogurts day 5

    I Have A Hemorrhoid!

It also help if you take a Tucks pad and just leave it between your cheeks for a while. I have had them ever since my first child. NOT fun and they come back any time I am on any type of pain meds. Not fun at all like other have said if you do have fiber you need to up your water intake too or it can increase the problem.
  25. It is very normal. I have a IUD and don't get my period either how ever I did have one after surgery but that has been it for the past 5 months. I was thinking as I lost weight and my hormones start to change that I might start getting one again.
