    Plastic Surgery???

I had my arms done as well as a tummy tuck and breast lift I am sooo glad I did! I have been wearing nothing but tank tops since I had my arms done 6 weeks ago lol.
  2. Amen! I also tell myself that there is no temptation (junk food) that I will be faced with where God doesn't provide a way out because he always does and sometimes it's as simple as just saying no:-) God bless

    Brachioplasty

I'm so glad you are recovering well! I wore my pressure garment for 2 weeks my surgeon said that's all that was needed but like you It felt good to have them on so what I did was after the 2 weeks I wore them only when I was home then after a week of doing that I only slept in them and did that for 1 week and then quit wearing them. I have been looking into doing my upper eyelids as well are you happy with those results? I have been debating on having them done now or wait 5 more years and have it done with a mini facelift.

Help! I Need To Drop 10Lbs!

Defiantly a diet with no proccesed foods and no sugar that includes sugar in all forms of dairy but if it's a natural sugar from fruit and vegetables that's fine, combine that with cardio, cardio you will loose 10 pounds in less than 3 weeks in 3 weeks you could loose 20. Best of luck let's us know how it goes :-)

    Serious Advice/opinion Needed

Since you have a payment plan set up to pay your parents back I say GO FOR IT!! I had my done 4 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. I feel so much better in my own skin I have had 3 different procedures with a thigh lift in my future and my confidence is appropriately better. it seems you are starting a new chapter in your life why not a with a new body? I just want to state that although I am a believer in plastic surgery My value comes from who I am in Christ but being able to have the surgeries has been a blessing. Best of luck to you :-)
  7. Yes it was easy to eat only 1000 calories with proper restriction... By eating whole foods I was able to eat a lot of food for low calories example skinless baked or grilled chicken breast is only 120 calories add in steamed vegetables for 60 calories so thats only 180 calories for dinner and had 32 grams of protien in it for lunch grilled salmon 233 calories some steamed spinach and a small red potato only add in 70 calories plus 30 more grams of protien Breakfast a piece of Ezekiel bread 2 egg whites and 1 ounce of low fat cheese is 154 calories and 14 grams of protien. So my total for the day is 637 calories that left me with room for 2 Snacks like an apple with PB2 spread, raw almonds, popcorn ect. My total grams of protien hit at least 76. I did have to learn to enjoy my vegetables without dressing and so on but it kept my calories low plus now I love the taste of all kinds of food in the way they were intended to be eaten don't get me wrongI still have butter but only a portion I still have steak but then a smaller lunch. I enjoy dessert too I just made sure my meals for the day were lean and green plus with a big calorie deficit I could afford some and I made it count I got what I really wanted and enjoyed it. I never felt shaky like I said before my body tapped my extra fuel (fat) now I do get shaky if I don't keep my calories up but that's easy to do lol! I hoped this helps feel free to ask me more questions if you have some. Cheers

    Scheduled Tummy Tuck

Congratulations how exciting for you! As far as going back to work 2 weeks will be perfect I dont work outside the home but i do take great care of my family and home and I was able to do everything that requires 10 days after my tt. To loose your last 20 pounds do cardio, cardio, cardio.
  9. I know you want to wait to have your surgery but I just wanted to give you some info on the breast lift for when you do have it done. I had a breast lift with an arm lift 3 1/2 weeks ago and if I worked I could ave gone back in 5 days for sure (as long as your job doesn't require heavy lifting.) As far as hitting the beach or pool my surgeon cleared me for swimming when I went in for my 2 week checkup. I had my tummy tuck in Feb. and I was glad I had it done separately from the breast lift but that's what worked for me and I don't have a problem with anesthesia your plastic surgeon will be a good person to ask about the risk of two surgeries. With each surgery I felt better and better in my own skin so to me it was worth doing it separate.
  10. I started out weighing almost 330 pounds and I now weigh 124 pounds. When I first started working out after being banded I ate about 1000 calories a day And worked out 5 days a week for 2-3 hours and the other 2 days I at least walked 3 miles with my dogs I did fine on 1000 calories my body had plenty of extra fuel and I wanted to tap it. Now that I'm at goal I still work out just as much but I eat around 1500-1600 calories a day since I have depleted my extra fuel

Help Think Ive Got A Problem!

I am so sorry to read that you are having a small problem.... What did the doctor say? After reading your post I have been very careful with my inscisions around my armpit since it seems to tug more in that area. Other then the problem you are having are you happy with your results?

    Tt Scar Suggestions

Maybe you could just try the laser on a small area to see if it works that way you know if you want to spend the money and time on it :-) like I said it worked on my back but it was a small area about the size of a half dollar so it only took 30 seconds of pain each time but it took over a year to have it gone plus $1500.
  13. Ill put the tips here since I'm on my iPad I'm having trouble messaging. #1 put anything cooking utensils you use on the counter top like a bowl, plate spoon #2 put any food u will be eating like crackers, jello and so on on the counter top make a special place just for your stuff #3 have a shelf in the fridge waist level cleared just for your stuff #4 put anything that comes in bigger containers into smaller ones like milk , tea, cokes and put that on your shelf #5 buy unscented maxi pads to cover your inscisions it's cheaper than gauze squares plus it adds padding #6 buy button up shirts #7 be prepared to have feelings of what did I do? The inscisions look bad at first and the bruising is ugly but it WILL get better #8 wear your compression garment at all times as long as your doctor says or longer #9 have an alarm clock set for when you take your pain pills and stay on them for at least a full day to stay ahead of the pain of coarse unless your doctor tells you other wise #10 relax and let others care of you for a few days it will speed up your recovery I hope this helps please feel free to ask me any questions I also had a tummy tuck, breast lift and chest wall reduction

    3 Days Post Op Brachioplasty

Does your doctor have you wearing a compression garment? Mine said to wear one for 2 weeks to help with the swelling and for me it has. You look great btw and don't be shocked if the bruising goes down to your forearms.

    Tt Scar Suggestions

Mederma has helped me plus the fact that I had to wear my compression garment for 3 months. I did have laser removal of a scar on my back and it lightened up a lot but it is painful and you cannot tan the area you have it done on while in treatment plus it's a long and expensive process.
  17. Svm10... You won't pop a stitch With small things like that your arms will let you know how far you can move them just like the tummy tuck when you start to stand up straight but when u r ready I can give you tips that really helped me out.
  18. Svm10...... Yes 2 weeks is plenty of time for recovery. I had mine done with a chest wall reduction and breast lift last Monday and I already have good range of motion and I feel great a little sore but in another week I'll be at 100 percent.

    Surgery Thursday!!!!

I just had the exact same surgery on Monday with a breast lift! I am so excited for you, you are going to be thrilled! My surgeon didn't require an unfill for me he just told me to make sure and tell anesthesia that I get sick so they pumped me up with anti nausea medication along with the patch behind my ear and some dissolvable tablets for home it worked like a charm. I would try and see if I could go with an unfill but I wouldn't let my weight go up by more then 2 pounds then I would be kicking the door in to get one. Good luck tomorrow it's sooooo worth it!

Is It Time Or Should I Wait?

Shues138, yes absoulutly start documenting now. A good idea would be to buy a spiral notebook or open a special file on your computer that you only use to document your rashes put the date down describe it, what u used to treat it, and how long it took to go away also document any lower back pain due to the hanging skin in the front amd what you do to ease the pain heating pads Tylenol ect. take photos of it as well and post it on your online journal.
  21. These are my before and after tummy tuck photos. As you can see that pre-op there was a lot of excess skin and the port can be seen. Post-op pictures are two weeks out and as you can see the port is no longer visible. My starting weight was 329 lbs. and my day of surgery weight was 129 lbs. Please feel free to ask me any questions and I hope that this post helps you with your decision.
  22. I will try to get the links to work.

    Professional Help

his spirit, I am so sorry for the pain that you are going through right now. I can tell you that for me personally developing a relationship with Jesus Christ gave me the strength I needed to take on the task that now lays before you. I found through him that I had value and it wasn't about what was on the outside (appearance). With Gods guidance I did seek therapy and was put on an anti depressant to help and it did. Getting therapy will help you reset the old tape you play in your head. You are going through a change physically and mentally so it's no wonder you are down Understand that you just had a big surgery and it is very common to get depressed in the first 3 weeks after surgery. Do you have any friends or family that can take care of you for another week since your partner can't? Go see someone and make sure you are comfortable with him or her so you can really open up. God bless you and I am praying for you.
