Had a wonderful 2 egg omelet cooked by hubby filled with cheese, ham, onion and peppers -- yum!! Now, going to watch the Bears v. Seahawks -- no dog in the fight, just want the winner to be someone the Packers can beat!

Off to work I go -- not much time to spend lurking on FB anymore

Just got my car from customs here in Paraguay -- long 4 month wait for it. It sure is nice to drive myself around again

It's Thursday, 10 days before I start working again -- yikes! Need to start gearing up for the new school year!

45 degrees down here in South America -- getting real tired of the cold weather.

T-day is done -- it was 90 degrees down here in Paraguay -- it was a little weird to have it so warm, but it was still fun. Exercised for an hour with my 12 year old and looking forward to going out tonight

I want to have a Labor Day, dammit!

Today, I'm doing more planning for school, then attend the Expo Paraguay 2011, and then maybe some Harry Potter?? (hopefully all the tickets are sold out!)

Sad about Amy Winehouse - reminds me of Janis Joplin -- an extremely talented singer whose battle with drugs and alcohol overtook her way too soon.

Hey -- nope, no alcohol -- I was never a big drinker anyway (my husband always called me a cheap date cause one or two would do me in) -- and from what I've read about people drinking, it doesn't seem worth it (15 min of feeling good and then nothing) -- and for the calories and carbs, it just doesn't make sense.

that's so funny! I told my husband -- isn't it a small world where someone can message you that they've seen you in the local paper, but they live over the ocean and in a completely different continent! wild!

Thanks Chilo -- yes, it's great to be able to wear short sleeves! I'm having problems getting my head around the fact that I can wear size 12 now-- in another 20 lbs, maybe I'll be in an 8??!!!? I hope you have a wonderful Easter! Besos!

Day 4 of the flu - nasty getting it in July (although it is winter) -- tomorrow I think I'll be able to go back to work.
