One year ago, I began losing weight -- today, I feel like a new person

so it's a bummer when the hubby goes to the States -- who will bring me my coffee in the morning? I miss you Steve.

Day 4 of the flu - nasty getting it in July (although it is winter) -- tomorrow I think I'll be able to go back to work.

Sad about Amy Winehouse - reminds me of Janis Joplin -- an extremely talented singer whose battle with drugs and alcohol overtook her way too soon.

45 degrees down here in South America -- getting real tired of the cold weather.

How come the first week back to school is so exhausting even if you are in meetings all day?

Up at 5 am today for no reason - body just wouldn't sleep. Good day back at school yesterday -- on to day 2!

Back to work for teachers in Asuncion -

Very lazy day -- still in my PJs (as is most of my family) -- making french toast casserole for brunch

Today, I'm doing more planning for school, then attend the Expo Paraguay 2011, and then maybe some Harry Potter?? (hopefully all the tickets are sold out!)

For winter, it's warm today -- in the 60s -- so we flung open all the windows so that we'd get some circulation going -- now that it's cooler, I think I can do my lesson planning

So I had today all set aside for planning for this school year, but I forgot to take the books out of the car and Daniel drove the car to work -- ugh.

My daughter wants to buy a turntable and LPs - because it's cool - have we gone so far that antiquated is cool again?

It's Thursday, 10 days before I start working again -- yikes! Need to start gearing up for the new school year!

that's so funny! I told my husband -- isn't it a small world where someone can message you that they've seen you in the local paper, but they live over the ocean and in a completely different continent! wild!

Thanks Chilo -- yes, it's great to be able to wear short sleeves! I'm having problems getting my head around the fact that I can wear size 12 now-- in another 20 lbs, maybe I'll be in an 8??!!!? I hope you have a wonderful Easter! Besos!
