  1. I had my lap band surgery on Nov. 4th. and I'm not scheduled for my first fill until Dec. 22nd. Like someone else posted here, I'm terrified because with the holidays there is so much food around, and I still want to eat! I'm afraid I started eating solid foods too early ... after the first week and a half, I started eating soft noodles and other soft, mushy foods. By Thanksgiving, I was pretty much eating everything (in small quantities). I experienced a couple of scary incidents in which food didn't want to go down, and I regurgitated after one meal. Since then, however, I have not experienced this, and I'm afraid I may have caused the band to slip or something. Am I being paranoid?
