  9. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice? I am 33 years old and really want to get the Lap Band procedure. But I dont have children now and will have them in the next 4 years. Should I get the band after I have a child or before? My period isnt regular due to my weight so I think it will be a challange to get pregnant before. I am just unsure about if I should go ahead and get the surgery now or wait until after I have a child. I will be pretty heavy after having a baby, thats for sure!
