  1. Thanks the pain has eased and I am feeling considerably better. Hopefully the band will sort itself before I see my doctor again in the new year.

I didn't have heartburn just severe stabbing pains and vomiting. I would still call your doctor on Monday to make sure you are on the right track I delayed because I didn't want to disturb the doctor over xmas but I would have saved myself a lot of pain and I would have been able to eat and drink something. I got to the stage when liquids wouldn't go down. I was coughing at night and vomiting in my sleep. Thanks for your reply hope you get sorted out. Despite my problems which are the first in four years I know I wouldn't have lost the weight without the band.

  2. Sorry to hear about your problems. I had a fill recently which caused similar problems. I was unfilled today and still have the pain. I have been advised liquids only for 24 hours. My doctor's office says I should have contacted them earlier even tho my problems got really bad on Xmas Eve and my doctor thinks my band has now slipped. I would contact your doctor for advice. Hope this helps.

  3. I have the same problem. I am not getting much sleep as I am also being sick with the coughing. I am not sure when I can contact my doctor. so I would be interested to hear what your doctor says. I have been banded for 4 years and not had this problem before. Hope you get sorted quickly

  4. Hey, guys chicken is causing me all sorts or problems theses days..Is it just me? I keeps getting stuck

I have real problems w9ith chicken and fish, watm chicken thighs are a bit easier but I have to chew, chew , chew and eat really slowly. I can only eat a couple of small mouthfulls. Sorry you have this problem but I am glad I am not alone. Chicken was always one of my staples when I was dieting

  5. I would take measurements and look at size charts on the clothing manufacturer website to find a size chart.

Also, when is the last time you were professionally fitted for a bra? I noticed yesterday that my clothing appears quite different when you have proper support. I took off the sports bra and put on my 38DDD, which is a change from the 40DDD I was a month ago. I just happened to have the right size at home in the drawer. But shazam! As soon as I put on everything looked better.

  6. I have just had my 2nd fill and I do have a little of what most people would call restriction if I eat too much. I am not hungry between meals, which is great, although still battling head hunger and I am adjusting to the portion sizes. I am eating more slowly to recognise the full point before I become uncomfortable and changing my mindset so I don't feel the need to clear my plate just because it tastes good!!! I think I may be a little swollen after my fill but its great that I can eat pretty much what I want in smaller portions and find it easier to make healthier choices with the band. I am very happy with my weight loss which I would describe as steady.
