Keeping Food Down

Lately I noticed that when initially eating I have a hard time not only getting the food down but keeping it down. In the beggining the Doctor prescribed Famotidine 20mg and I am wondering if I should go back to taking them; Or getting something simliar over the counter like Pecid. Tell me what you think

Famotidine isn't similar to Pepcid--it actually IS Pepcid, so if it worked before, you can certainly try it again. Although I'm not sure why it would help since it's an antacid and the acid shouldn't prevent you from getting food down. It's a pretty benign drug though, so it doesn't hurt to give it a shot. To me it sounds more like you're too tight, although you've already been to your Dr. and I'm sure he would have known if that was the case.

Ditto the above comments. It sounds like you're too tight. I'd call the doc or nurse and tell them your symptoms and how often this is happening and let them decide the best path for you. Pepcid shouldn't help with PBing.
