I must say it is harder then I thought it would be. I'm ashamed to say I'm not doing so hot. On the 7th day post op I ate regular food (yes I chewed it well and of course washed it down with water) but I was so hungry. I have eaten regular food (meaning not purreed or soft) several days this week. Now I am afraid I might have really screwed up. I'm way too embarrassed to tell my surgeon, in which I meet with tomorrow at 0840. I would love some advice.[/quote'] "Half of doing is Believing you can!"

Hi, go4it09, Yes it is hard, but you have to take it one day at a time. When you screw up (dont do well), you can dwell on it, you have to move forward and dont make that mistake again. The hardest transition for me was waiting to drink 1/2 hour after I ate. But once I got into the habit it got easier.

It will get easier
