I am 3 weeks post op and have put on 4lb since surgery. The doc tells me to drink my fluids and get my protein but sometimes i feel full by the end of the day and i havent taken in my daily requirements of fluids and proteins. Do i force myself to get my daily requirements in or do i short myself of requirements?.

Both enough water and enough protein will help you with weight loss, not hinder it. If you're eating too little your weight loss will actually slow down as your body will slow your metabolism. Good luck! -BG

Hey WELCOME to LBT! I just realized it was your first blob, lots of great people here. There's a March '09 group in the forum (top) and then go down to support groups 2009. They should be in the same spot you are. You're in the period commonly call 'bandster hell' where you have no restriction yet and it's all up to you, and MANY gain weight...it's normal.       Xbox And Exercise - Kickboxing

      I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

      I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️
