I haven't been on a real date in probably 5 years. Mainly self esteme issues. I have now lost a total of 73 lbs pre-op and post-op. I think I am ready for the dating world again, although sometimes I don't know how to promote the new me. I haven't been at this weight since highscool and I', 43 yrs old now. HELP !!:tt2:

Me too! Only I'm 49 and haven't lost enough yet to be ready to date. I'm 2 months post op and down about 37 lbs. I feel like I won't be ready until I lose at least another 40 but I do think about it alot and I know I will be nervous too because it's been so long! Let me know how it goes and how you feel once you start dating since you are further along than me! Congrats on your weight loss, I'll bet you feel great! Amy
