13 days and counting

Start weight 216 pounds.

I have been dieting since my weigh in and 3 days ago weighed 210 so I lost 6 pounds.

Started my liquid diet yesterday, it was not so bad. I wish there was more sustanance than is available. The only really salty food is broth, and thats just not doing it. The protein shakes keep me plenty full for an easy 4 hours, and they aren't that bad. I can drink them, I just dread it up until I do. Dr. Sasse says nothing but liquids and protein drink. I wish I could at least have oatmeal, milk, something like that. However it is not on the list. I have my pre-op on Tuesday, so I can ask further questions then. It is now the ending of day 2. I have been having headaches, bordering on migrains, so I am eating Tylenol like they are candy. My stomach is growling for the first time since I was 15.

Last night I weighed 206 before going to bed, this morning 203, just now, 202.5. The liquid diet is going to make me lose weight before surgery thats for sure. If nothing else the scale may help keep me going.
