I have exactly 21 hours, 21 min and 46 seconds until I am in the OR for my VGS! I am packed and ready to get this past me so I can start my new life!

 

I had my pre-op visit with the nurse this morning, I am pre-registered and I have everything on my list checked off! Now what do I do for the next 20 hours of my "life as I have lived with for this long"! I do not think I will be able to get much rest tonight, however, I am sure I will get a few winks of rest recovering!

 

To say I am excited about the decisions I have made, is putting it mildly! I am super, super, super EXCITED and HOPEFUL for the changes that are coming my way! Life will be so different, but I got this!!!

 

I hope all, that are thinking about or have done one of the surgeries, best wishes for a great new year!

I am BACK and I am forever grateful for my decision to make such a drastic change in my life! Tomorrow will make a full week post op and I have lost 17lbs. I will not lie, getting used to the sipping opposed to the gulping has been a challenge! I am amazed at the confidence I have gained as well as the excitement of knowing I am finally in the running for my new life!! I wake up each morning (still a little sore =) ) so excited to know that I followed all my drinking and food guidelines and how I know that scale is going to show my committment to this new lifestyle!

Thank you for following!! I feel as though I have a new family along with my new life on here!!!

      Xbox And Exercise - Kickboxing

      I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

      I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️
