blogs/blog-0370373001375361638.jpgYep D Day is here aka operation day. I am not nervous. This shocks me. Could be e premedication I've taken but I haven't felt nervous at all. That doesn't mean I haven't had moments of "worst case scenario" syndrome but for the most part I am good!

 

My appointment is for 7:30 but have to be there one hour before to get IV, gowned oh yhea and pay the anesthesiologist (thank you spell check).

 

Through this whole journey to today I have had my husband supporting me the whole way. Thank you darling.

 

Nope I'm feeling good and looking forward to being on the other side - recovery pain and all.

 

Good luck to all being sleeves today- see you on the other side.

Update:

Doing well, no. complications. Sore throat but manageable.getting my flluids and drinking . Am walking around every hour and half - it helps! Have a drain but my husband is dealing with it as well as flushing my IV line (it will be removed tomorrow after a load up on liquids.

Highly highly recommend cholera septic spray - it make everything just a little better. Take the pain meds as directed - don't be a hero.

And pillows....lots of them makes it easier to get into a comfortable position. I currently 4 an am eyeing my husbands two :)

      Xbox And Exercise - Kickboxing

      I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

      I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️
