I have been very nauseous today and have not got my 40ozs in today. I also have problems with seeing things. Things that are up close are very blurry, but I can see thing far away a little bit better. I have never had eye problem. I have slowed up on pain meds and hoped it would help with the eye problems, but it has not worked so far. Also hoping that I can finally go to the bathroom and bloating will go away.

I've read here on VST some others experienced temporary blurred vision from the anestesia. I didn't, but i believe what you are experiencing is temporary so try not to worry.

As far as nausea & fluids....i was the exact same way. I had about 3 rough days & since then i am better every day. Just go slow and keep trying small, routine sips of your fluids. Try to also move around a bit as much of the bloated feeling is from the gas they use for laproscopy. Between sipping & walking like it is your job in life ;) , stay as comfy as possible and rest.

Soon you will be able to get more protein and when that gets better you will be feeling tons better! Hang in there!

Hi did you get a patch next to one of your ears before surgery? This was supposed to help with nausea. If you accidently touched that patch and then rubbed your eyes you could have vision problems for a little while. Also I am one week out and still struggle with bloating and not being able to go to the bathroom. They told me Milk of Mag but so far no success. Hang in there it really will get better. Another girl on this forum told me about Gas X Strips that you can lay on your tongue and those have helped some. Mostly I walk, walk, and walk some more. Next week you will feel much better.
