One Month Officially Today

Well today is officially one month! I was sleeved on July 2nd and today is August 2nd. I can't believe how time has passed me by. I am happy about my progress. I have even placed a pair of jeans that are officially too big in the "to be given away pile". I have not gone back to my doctor for my official one month follow up but according to my scale I am down 18 pounds which is incredible. I am still working on not eating too much. Last ***ht I ate some string cheese and I must have ate it too fast because in my sleep it decided it wanted to come back up. This has only happened to me once before so now I know not to eat after 7 pm. Overall, I feel pretty good. I have to remember to take my Vitamin D and Calcium tablets because the I only remember the B12 in the morning and by late afternoon Im too tired. I have been excercising but have fallen off the wagon, so I need to get back on it.

 

Well that is all of my thoughts for now...please let me know how my fellow sleevers are doing!

Congrats on the weight loss! I was sleeved on July 2nd also. I had my one month visit 3 days ago and my doctor said all is good. I don't go back now until the end of September. He put me on phase 3 which includes deli shaved meats, ground beef, peanut butter, toast, crackers and cheese, etc. However, everything hurts to eat but soup, so I'm sticking with soup. So far I've lost 23 lbs post surgery. I feel pretty good. I swim 2-3 days a week for exercise, but I work in radiology so I'm running around at work all day, which is good too.

I totally understand...I am constantly burping. I think this is my body signal for being full. I tried the deli meat and peanut butter but I was having small annoying pains, so I went back to yogurt and malt-o-meal and tuna with no crackers...LOL! I know it will get better soon!

      Xbox And Exercise - Kickboxing

      I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

      I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️
