how long were you guys sore from the incisions? i had my surgery on Monday and i still cannot stand up straight without having to hold my stomach...it's still amazingly painful. i see so many posts on here about how there's no pain or just a little and how people are back to normal in just a few days.....is that really the norm? im feeling a lot of regret for doing this right now!! i dont even want to get off the couch because it hurts so much!

Im with you, im 11 days out and still have pain. It got better about 2 days ago but still im not driving or doing alot. Some people just take longer to feel better. I was scared at first cause i was reading the same things you were but went to my dr, yesterday and it is all good, he said people are just differant. I do have a low pain level. Just hang in there and you will feel better.

The pain is different for everyone. I still have some soreness 7 weeks post-op & it was really hurting bad for a few weeks after surgery. I just got checked to see if I had developed a hernia since I "shouldn't" be having pain at this time but I am fine. The doctor said some people are more sensitive & I probably had an allergic reaction to the stitches & glue he used since I also have redness at the incision sites. Make sure you tell your doctor about your pain but know that you aren't alone in feeling this way. My pain is going away more & more everyday.

for me the pain was mostly gone by the end of week 2 post op. I sneezed one day and didn't get to hold my stomach fast enough and it felt like a ripping sensation going through my largest incision... That one took the longest time to heal, but still better by then end of week 2. Hang in there!!!

Just made me realize it's coming up on the allergy season that sets me off -- late August into September. I need to get on meds as soon as possible because I sneeze constantly for 6 weeks and I will only be 3 weeks post-op.

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.
    • I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️

      Einarmige Banditen
