First Day....

First day home from the hospital and things are going well. Trying to get more and more water down. Sips are hard! My inclination is to down the water but heavens knows that would not go well at all! I'm really taking a liking to Ensure's Clear Protein Blueberry and Pomegranate drink. Very tasty! I can't help but feel hungry though...everything sounds delicious...I can't wait to start eating again, hence my need for the surgery!

I am feeling the same way. My surgery was Tuesday 6/19. I am getting my protein shake down(30 g protein) and almost 4 bottles of water. I also enjoy a sugar free popscicle today. :)

Three weeks out tomorrow here and I would like to move to pureed food and see surgeon on Wed, but I think I'm going to be made to wait another 2 more weeks. I sure hope not.

I am still using the med cups to drink out of. I really seem to take in way too much air when I drink out of the water bottle. I hope I can get away from the med cups eventually, but I still can't. 3 sips from the one ounce med cups is usually what I get, and I can easily get down 3 ounces one sip at a time but my 4th ounce, seems to do me in a bit.

How on earth are you getting down 4 bottles of water???? Lucky you! I will be 7 weeks out tomorrow, and can barely finish 1 bottle.....
