Major Stall..

So, I havent been around in quite some time. Been so busy with the mandatory OT at work, taking care of my now ONE year old son, and going to the gym. Life has been pretty hectic. I'm down 50lbs and people have noticed. It feels good, but now that I have 30 to go- goal is 145 but its seems like its taking forever. I've lost 5lbs in 2 months. wtf. This seems soooo unexceptable to me. But I guess since going to the gym an rebuilding muscle its expected. I guess everyone has their own time frame and goal and some just achive it alot faster than others. I'll be 7 months out on the 27th of this month.. I feel like a slacker lately. I think im gonna kick start my diet again and go back to maybe a liquid diet/puree stage for a few weeks and shock my body back into the ketosis stage. Doing that as long as i get all my protien in and working out, I think will help boost that 30lb goal in a month or two. Just in time for SUMMER! :) Anyone else go though this or been at this "rut"? I hope im not the only one.

Gonna keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

I don't know if I would go back to liquid/puree for weeks, maybe Diva's boot camp?

hmmm...maybe strap the kiddo into a kiddie backpack and use him as extra weight when you take a walk? lol

Periodically I go through stalls. And the further out I get the slower the weight loss goes. I do believe that your body is always searching for a balance. It wants to be stable. It wants to hold onto the weight. I find that you have to shake it up every now and then. Shock your body in a way into not getting too comfortable. I switch up what I'm eating sometimes and what I am doing for exercise. Your body adjusts to what you're doing so switching it up confuses it lol I don't think puree would really necessarily help but I definitely would go with the low carb. For me personally, carbs and sugar are absolute killers. I basically have to limit my carbs to under 30 a day or I'm looking at slow losing. Hang in there!

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.
    • I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️

      Einarmige Banditen
