I am pre-op on the liquid diet...walking 1 1/2-2 miles a day! Why is the scale going the other way! I have gained 1 pound! That makes no sense to me!

I am averaging...

800-1000 calories per day

90-115 proteins per day

70-80 carbs per day

20-25 fats per day

80-100 oz of water/liquids per day

(No sugar, no soda, no real food..nothing but protein shakes with 1% milk, gogurts, sugar-free pudding and soup broth)

PLUS...I exercise!

What am I doing wrong? The scale has varied...

10/11/11...307.0

10/12/11...304.0

10/13/11...302.6

10/14/11...301.6

10/15/11...302.0

10/16/11...301.2

10/17/11...302.2

See the problem here on the last 5 days of liquid? Am I getting to much protein...using to much milk... to much sodium in the broth (I only eat one cup per day)...WHAT?

Sad in Oklahoma! :(

Look at the big picture. In 7 days you still lost 5 lbs. That is a lot! Keep up what you are doing. You will lose weight, your body just has to store up some energy for the next big weight loss jump!

I agree with IVY, this is the biggest loser sista! I mean 5 lbs in a week is a lot, ID LOVE TO LOSE THAT! You're walking so thats GREAT! I'm sure if you were doing intense cardio and weight training it would come off faster. BUT don't be discouraged, you are doing all the right things, just KEEP IT UP! Thats got to be super hard and i for one and proud of you girl!
