So I'm not gonna lie. This crap totally sucks. Today at work i've already been in a pickle with my numbers... haha 96-69 kinda screwed me up... BLEH!

 

I have a headache... I wonder if its because of my sugars going low and then up when i eat, then low and the up again? Either way it blows.

 

My diet says 3-4 protein shakes a day... and well i think thats too much and too expensive. So i've been doing 2 a day one for breakfast with a yogert and then one around 2-3pm as a snack to hold me over until dinner. Then at dinner i have oatmeal/ and or soup. Then some pudding for a snack a few hours before bed if I'm awake lol.

 

I have 4 mor days left then Wednesday i'll be going in for surgery. Hopefully i can keep it together and not cave in. The constant grumble of my stomach total sucks too. Its kind of starting to hurt?... Maybe i should try a snack somewhere in btwn? IDK i just hope that in this week i get a jump start on some serious poundage. haha. 5lbs would be good... REAL good! :)

Hey S - It's liquid...so keep a 7-up or sprite on hand to suck down a few sugars to keep those in check. I'm hypoglycemic and can pass out really fast by letting them get too low. Also add the protein WHEY from Walmart to milk and blend it - It's much cheaper than buying the Atkins or EAS shakes. (And they have chocolate peanut butter)

There's a reason the DIET says 4- shakes a day. :rolleyes:

I still plan on having 2-liters of regular 7-up available for that ligh-headed headache I get when on all liquids. Good luck...Just think next Wednesday!!! Yahoo! I am excited for you!

      I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

      I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️
