If you are ok with fluids drink as much as you can as often as you can. The first couple of weeks you must focus on hydrations. Protein will come in time at least that's what my MD told me at about week 2 he had me start to focus on protein. Hope this helps hang in there I'm drinking as i blog this. I still have trouble with my protein, but i get in my fluids. Love crystal lite, but i use one pack to a liter of water just enough flavor to keep me drinking but not too sweet. I'm six weeks out sleeved on the 21st of June. I lost about 16 lbs since surgery:001_unsure: not as much as most but still better off than on:001_tongue:

Thanks. I had a question for you. Im going on three weeks po and Different doctors recommend different diets. What were you eating at 3 wks?

my dr started me on the mushies post op day 15-21

examples

1/2 bananas, fruit added to smoothies(yuck), 1/4 baked sweet potato, oatmeal cream of wheat(yuck) no grits:(

week 4

lowfat cottage cheese, lite canned fruit, well cooked veggies(canned), beans no rice low fat cheese,

my food servings were 1/4-1/2 cup I'm at 1/2 cup for most things my protein in week 3 was up to 60-80 grams:001_rolleyes:

and any supplements my md ordered were taken as tolerated and you cannot move to these stages if you have nausea, or vomitting. hope this helps.
