Small Cold Need some advice

I am a week and half away from getting the sleeve and have a small sore throat. I am mad but worried about what to do.... trip is planned I hope it goes away but any help out there...... I don't want to take anything being this close so. What would the Doc say.....

I would take something, up your Vitamin C consumption. Just avoid anything with aspirin or large amounts of acetaminophen. Try taking a Sudafed if you think it's from sinus drainage.

No advice here, just wanted to say I hope you feel better. I started to come down with a cold the week prior to surgery and called my surgeon's office to see if they would still do the surgery if I had a cold. I was told yes.

I am 1 month post-op (VSG). Try Celestial Seasonings Wellness Tea (Echinacea Complete Care) it totally knocked my cold/sore throat out. You can follow with Vitamin C. The great news it is also totally & naturally decaffeinated.

One thing that works great for me is gargling with warm salt water several times a day. It definitely works. I was also reading an article recently that stated if you gargle with warm salt water daily it would prevent you from getting the flu because the germs take several days to get from your throat to your body.

      I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️
