this is a major decision. Cutting a body part out...cost is factoring in somewhat, don't want to cheap out and get an infection. gonna call a few local MD and see what the price is I'm thinking twice Mex price for a revision. Since I had the band placed in Mex I'm over the concern of "going to Mex yikes!" HATE this band it is coming out no matter what my final decision. Having a total unfill done soon (tommorow if I can talk the surgeon I am seeing into doing it...-I could do it myself for that matter!!!)

Don't freak out :scared0:if you are reading this I am an RN and would make sure it was a sterile procedure!-still I wouldn't do it ethics..)

    It is a major decision, and I hope you are able to get as much information as possible from many of the members here that have traveled abroad. I understand cost being a concern. If my insurance would not have paid for my revision, I would of been looking at Mexico myself. I have high standards, and there are certain criteria that had to be met before I would consider one facility/surgeon over another. Cost would be a factor for me as well, but more so, experience and the facility/aftercare would weigh more heavily on my decision process. Best wishes.
