Day One - Prep Op Diet

blogs/blog-0051509001375362744.jpgIt's day one of my quest for a new me! Went grocery shopping last evening for liquids.... and more liquids - must be prepared and have a variety of items on hand to get my though these 14 days pre-op diet!

Had some coffee this morning (had to have that) driking water, and just taking it step by step - hour by hour.

I am scared of surgery, scared of complications which makes me super obedient to follow all of docs rules to a tee, so I have no doubt that I will do fine through these 14 days.

August 15 is my band date, let the countdown begin!!!!!

You will do gret, just take it one day at the time. The first day is the worst as you will be having withdrawal from sugars. Good luck!

Thanks for your response! I am on day 5 today... doing ok overall, just trying to take it one day at a time and not focus on the fact that I have like 10 more days of this and 2 weeks therafter (post-surgery). I can say that this experience is causing me to reevaluate my relationship with food...it wa slike I did not know what to do with myself socially this weekend while being on this liquid/limited calorie diet. But I am 4.5 lbs down and pressing on!!!!!!!!!
