im excited for you ROXA,,, my insurance advocate from true results called me today to see if i had any questions ect,, and my sleep study machine comes on tues,,, then the nutrician and phyc eval on nov 5 THEN surgery schedule for me,,, i hope to do it first part of dec,,, im practicing now to chew chew chew,,,but not doing so well with that,,, i chew then swallow chunks,,, man i gotta stop that crap,,,i really have to train myself to slow down and CHEW CHEW CHEW,,,im not so much wanting to DUMP,,,but will keep trashcan by my side for a while just in case i guess,,,, WE CAN DO THIS I KNOW WE CAN,,,, TONS OF PPL HAVE,,, WE GOT THIS :)

yes we can do this!! I am going into the final stretch. Sat and Sun broth and SF liquids only, no shakes or jello. I will be glad when next week is over. Hoping the worst will be behind me then.

Today is the 14th day of liquids for me. The last 48 hours I had to give up my shakes also but I am now on the final countdown. Surgery is tomorrow morning. Trust me girlfriend, if I can do this so can you! I was about to throw the towel in about a week ago but wrote in my journal and reminded myself why I am doing this in the first place. Its not that I can't lose the weight, its keeping it off! I want to be healthier so I can watch my grandkids grow up and not be one of those poor people I see in the nursing homes I visit. We can do this.

Yes, every doctor is different. Mine seems to be a lot stricker than most of them so I hope my surgery is a breeze cause of it!

You will not fail. That is not an option. PLUS we have this great discussion board and other people who know what we are going through to give us strength and help us through.

roxanne i just got your email and so glad all went well,,, thank you for the support ,,,but i m determined and i wont quit and we can do this,, i know we will have hard days there is no doubt,,,but we CAN CAN do it i even anxious to start walking,,,never thought those words would come out of my mouth lol,,,, this spring i want to go to this huge flea market that is the first sat of every month its in east tx and my hubby loves to go but i dont want to anymore,,too much walking,,, BUT i plan to change that asap !!!!
