June Update

I just wanted to stop by and give a quick update. I'm still losing weight at a slow pace. I am a very inpatient person but I'm hanging in there. I feel great and that the most important thing. I have dropped 4 sizes since being banded and it is a great feeling to be out of the PLUS size clothing!

I completed week 6 of the C25K and my doc stated he wanted me to continue with sprinting because it burns more calories. So I have been doing this around the neighborhood because the weather has been great and my blue healer loves going with me. I don't know who is in charge me or her. LOL Let’s just says she keeps me going. Also I have been taking a break in the morning and doing a 1 mile walk at work. Had to stop the afternoon walks because it is just too HOT!

LAP-BAND Patients

Way to go. I am also impatient and my weight loss is not as fast as I had hoped (26 all together, 16 since surgery on 5/8/12). Others seem to lose quickly but I am telling myself that I am in it for the long haul and that perhaps I need yet another lesson in patience. I started C25K last week but it is getting so hot I may do Zumba for a while and restart it during the fall. Being out of pluz size is such a huge success. I am happy for you!
