good afternoon all....

 

I have been upset since being banded I have not seen my scale move more then 3 lbs....

I have been walking miles every day and just not being a couch potatoe at all....eatting all good things...trying not to eat to much of it...but not always good there...but still the scale wont budge...( waiting for my first fill)

This morning on the way to church my 10 yr old yells as only a 10 yr old can...WOW MOM YOUR BELLIE DOESN`T TOUCH THE STEERING WHEEL ANY MORE !!! I had to take a moment and smile and rejoice in his excitment and my joy .....God is Good !!! and who needs the scale !

That feels great huh?! Just keep doing what you're suppose to and those scales will eventually show it to. I think that's why too they want us to take our measurements because you're more apt to see the results there. And I agree....God is good!!

I have experienced the same event...I am compliant with the diet, exercise, and have lost only 1 pound since starting on soft foods. Muscle weighs more than fat, so while you are building muscle through exercise, you are loosing the fat, which the scale does not reflect. Keep focused...you will see the results. Remember also, that the band has the slowest weight loss rate. Keep up the great work!!

      Xbox And Exercise - Kickboxing

      I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

      I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️
