NEW MIDDLE NUMBER - YEA ME!!!

FINALLY, when I weighted myself this morning, there was a new middle #. I know it might not seem like much to anyone else, but I have been struggling to get out of the 260's. Finally made it to 259 this moring. I was so happy.

I have been lucky enough to find a walking/biking partner in my neighborhood. We have decided to bike 3 days a week and walk the other 2 days. That will be good for me (and her).

One thing I finally had to do was make a sign for my desk that says, 'I am NOT hungry!!!' ' HUNGER IS A FIGMENT OF MY IMAGINATION' Worked for me all day yesterday. Working on reading it numerous times today, too.

OK, so off to my daily routine.

GOOD LUCK FELLOW BANDSTERS AND SOON TO BE BANDSTERS.

Great Job! I also look at the food I am going to eat and ask myself if it will taste as good as losing weight feels and it makes me think twice! I also like seeing the middle number change. Now that I am getting closer to goal the scale moves slower so I set mini goals of changing the middle number!

Great job! I call those the 'decades' like you were in the 60s (think of Austin Powers, shag baby!) and now its Elvis and poodle skirts! Congrats on a new decade...I was even thinking of picking out a costume for a Halloween party I am going to based on my decade...no one else would get it but who cares?PS:Stay off that scale a couple of days so a normal tiny fluctuation doesnt put you back in the 60s and ruin your day!

i am the same exact way - been really excited to see a new middle number - about once every 3 weeks or so - been GREAT and really motivating to see a new number. Sometimes though it does bounce back up to the old middle number before it settles back down into the new "decade" - just normal day to day fluxuations. Best of luck to all of us on our journeys!!!!;)

I know EXACTLY what you mean!!! I'm ready for my middle number to change but I'm staying off that scale for a week while I get on track!

Way to go on the walking and biking!!!! Great way to mix it up!!! Keep up the great work!!!

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.
    • I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking a second time! It was hard enough to do it once... So - when I say BIG congrats... I mean BIIIIIG congrats! ❤️

      Einarmige Banditen
