Starting over after pregnancy...

Hi everyone,

 

I was banded 3 years ago, and 18 months of that time I was either pregnant or nursing. I'm now picking up where I left off and feel like I'm starting over b/c I can't remember anything of what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm looking for tips, food ideas, ANY and all advice to help get me moving on this journey again. My total weighloss goal was 80, and I am only down 25 lbs. (I'm only 4'8") During pregnancy I gained 35 and lost it, so I am exactly where I left off. The thing is, I can't seem to get motivated and have no one really to discuss my situation with.

 

I just had my first fill since being completely unfilled during pregnancy. I have a REALIZE Band, and I am up to 4cc. The first week or so was GREAT, I felt the restriction but now...I don't really feel the restriction anymore.

 

Can anyone explain why? Why did the band feel tight the first week or so and now feel pretty darn loose again?

 

Hope to read some good advice on this forum.

I have 4.5 cc and I don't feel any restriction unless I eat too much then it is tight. I can eat a whole can of soup but last night when I was eating my fish and green beans..........wow, I sure could feel it. I think it depends on what you eat. Give it time and think skinny.

I am back to eating small to be small. I had to have a large un fill and I gained some weight. Yes, I let myself eat all the wrong foods and sliders too. I had great fun of it until I stepped back on the scale and almost had a heart attack. I gained 20 pounds in one month. I got back in to the Dr. office and had a fill. Now I get tight if I eat the wrong foods. I am keeping my foods clean and healthy and I feel so much better. I want to be small so I am going to continue to eat real foods, not too much and mostly plants with proteins this I can manage and feel good. Best wishes Imaluckydog to be losing again.
